Hekili with over 27 million DLs shows how bad this game is

There is no way you can top dps without addons.

why, genuinely

Because the base game does not provide anything to tell you if you are dpsing better or worse.

One cannot improve much without a point of reference.

I still find it funny that Blizzard actually tested Molten Core back in the days, and to track dps they used a playermade dps meter.

Imagine coding a whole game, with all variables and so many classes but not thinking or writing your own dps meter when testing your own made content.

Source: multiple videos / apparently the WoW book from behind the scenes / making of WoW.

Overall i do feel Blizzard should have incorporated some aspects from 3rd party addons into the game a long time ago.

Or maybe employ said addon writers and recommend those addons. Instead of said addon writers asking for patreon money / advertisements or other means of content.

Thats if you honestly want to try and beleive blizzard bled subs down to game difficulty which would be wild, given its Nothing to do with the complaints made.

The reason people quit the game was

  • borrowed power.
  • masses of bugs.
  • game performance (lag etc etc)
  • lack of open world content.
  • lawsuits.
  • terrible pvp balancing.
  • Introduction of the GCD.
  • pruning classes.
  • terrible story writing

Ive never seen a singular person quit the game because of their classes rotation

Literally raid difficulty increase made me stop raiding beyond Lfr regularly.
Loved artefact power.
Df has tons of bugs compared to other xpacks in my experience.
Lag still here…used to it.
World content is bad in 10.1.Worse than ever.
Never cared about the lawsuit,their problem,not mine…
Pvp is still very imbalanced, always was, always will be.
Don’t care about Gcd.
Pruning was amazing…we don’t need 36 buttons.Well we do need them now once again. And Dh was way better before the unprunning in Df tbh.
Story was strange in some parts and still is.

WoW is an easy game. It’s not complex at all. You need to know some basics to start, like playing mainly with the keyboard(no mouseclick on spells), mouse only for moving(extra buttons are useful too), strafe is important as well. For the rotation, if you think it’s complex, should I remind you the Fury’s rotation in wotlk for example? (Bloodthirst, whirlwind, instant slam when it procs, sunder armor). Literally 4 buttons to use, the rest is situational and won’t be used frequently. almost all classes are like that…

The difficulty is the time, not every player has the time to spend and memorize what classes are capable of.

As mentioned above by a user, the reasons of leaving this game is due to the stupidity of some players who asked blizzard years ago to remove the flying mount when a new expansion is released, they listened to them and we had to farm like crazy farmers to fly while we would farm some gold and buy the ability before. The borrowed power was an aberration as well and tons of others reasons…

OK and when that happend?

Start of Bfa.I rarely do more than a few bosses in Nm in a entire xpack since then…
Making the raids more difficult means having to redo the pug everytime you wipe…
Its not a fun experience…

I am still burned out of SL raids. I stopped completely after getting sylvanas curves after 8 months progressing. It has become way too difficult.

Sylvanas is regarded one of the easiest bosses due to the fact that there is nothing hard in the encounter and how hard it gets nerfed with every single ilvl of gear you acquire. Even the CE is widely regarded a joke. The only hard fight in Sanctum is Painsmith.

Yeah that is why we wiped unlimited times on it. And it took 8 months to get through normal and then heroic.
Good for you it was easy though.

Then that says more about your guild than the encounter. Name one thing that is hard on Sylvanas. The only annoying (annoying, not hard) part of it are the arrows in P1 intermission being random.

The comparison with SL raids and the raids in the previous expansions says enough for me. SL raids were way way way more difficult. I am fine we are crap players. The comparison proves.

Sepulcher was hands down. Nathria was well within range and Sanctum was easy aside from painsmith.

Answer the question. Name one single hard mechanic on Sylvanas.

No reason to answer. You will always say we are crap anyway and that it was easy.

I take this as that there isnt. There will be a multitude of reasons why your guild took 8months to progress through. And the difficulty of Sylvanas specifically is not one of them

Well sylvanas alone was almost 2 months of it on heroic.

I will stick with what I said. Sylvanas doesnt have a single hard mechanic and for Heroic you have on top of it ways to hard overgear the difficulty level.

Yeah i know we are crap. That is fine. I just gave my experience and my oppinion. I am happy for you though.
But when you throw 10-15 people on a 15 minute very tied fight with all kinds of perfect timed movements and stuff. Things will go wrong somewhere. And you have to go through minute 13-15 also in a perfect way. That is long time progressing.

Sylv was exactly the fight where you could NOT muscle through.
