Go back to Normal then if you deem it ‘hard’ OP.
Ok, i just go with agreeing to disagree Because people are doing +30 (or not +30) because of skill.
Sorry but I disagree entirely. Nothing changes if you do the mechanics right in PvE, PvP is adapting to different situations every single game you enter. Both are not on the same playing field, and shouldn’t even be compared.
Which is why you’ll find decent PvPers find it a breeze to transfer over to PvE content, but PvErs transferring over to PvP will pretty much get steamrolled, hard. Also the reason I stopped semi-hardcore raiding in MoP, wipe on a boss 100 times waiting for everyone else to shape up, while you’re sat doing the same thing, every-single-pull. Scripted content=/=non scripted
Everything changes. You can not force the conduction on the player with a bubble. You know stuff that can and will happen, you don’t know the details. So you have to adapt really fast. PvE is also skill. I disagreed with the statement all PvE is easy.
Nothing changes. Bosses mechanics are timed, they do not change. The only thing that changes is the players you’re playing with. That doesn’t mean the boss is hard, it just means you’re playing with people who don’t know the mechanics. There’s a huge difference.
Every boss is predetermined mechanics. It is not like that in PvP whatsoever.
Fine
Still not all PvE is easy and no skill.
Oh for sure. Mythic etc is very difficult, especially coordinating all 20 people to synchronize all in one pull to kill the boss. That’s the difficult part of PvE imo.
No. Just no. We had a guy that was gladiator in my guild in Cata that was like “HURDIHURR, YOU NEED TO INTERRUPT THAT” when we were doing maloriak. Yeah, we can interrupt as soon as the cast bar appears but if we interrupt the wrong ability, we’re going to wipe, we need to see what he’s casting before we interrupt. Interrupt the add release ability and we’ll get a load of adds eventually and get overrun. It should only be interrupted in some specific circumstances but this guy wanted us to interrupt as soon as the cast bar appeared, before we see what he’s even casting.
He stopped raiding with us after the main tank told him off. Lmao.
do /spit on raid boss watch boss 1 shoot the raid lol.
It depends on who does the football mechanic. Some classes can solo it so all you need to do is send one mobile DPS to solo, and two healers. That way you have more reserve DPS to tunnel the boss.
Sorry but 1 single bad experience doesn’t make what you say true.
What you said isn’t true. PvP players don’t have an easy time transferring to PVE. The skills does not translate at all.
Having the full knowledge of every ability on your bar isn’t beneficial, having a mechanical mindset to counter real life players requires a lot more brainpower than PvEing. You can LITERALLY download DBM and succeed in PvE. The addon literally tells you when the boss is going to do abilities.
Just because you got some boosted turdbucket in your raid doesn’t make what you say gospel. I can go into servere detail if you’d like, but I have a feeling that you’ve already made your mind up.
Oh, yeah. DBM totally plays the game for you.
Or not.
I never said it played the game for you, I said it tells you when it does the abilities, huge difference. I can see you’re being irrational now. I know deep down you know what I say is true, I’ll leave it at that. Cheers.
You don’t succeed just because you download DBM. Some guy that’s got 2.4k rating in PVP doesn’t impress me when I see them play PVE. Just the other day I had a guy that tried to do some, likely that he’s seen on MDI, stuff in atal’dazar and it ended up going from a potentially +3 to being not in time at all because he had to try to “show skills”. “I know the route” he says. Then he screws everything up. Gladiator. Scrub in PVE.
“Hunter, pull pack away from obelisk” and then he runs and gets himself in combat with the pack. GG. “WTF I CAN’T ENTER, I’M COMBAT”. Yeah, you are. We could’ve just killed the pack instead of doing that when he doesn’t know when to run in and it would have turned out better than a wipe.
6 wipes because he tried to pull some stupid MDI stuff and thinking he can pull it off like they do in MDI. 3 wipes to saurolisks because he tried to do some stupid jump stuff and snap them but instead they ran free and killed everyone.
Doing a +30, getting Cutting Edge / Hall of Fame is something you should be proud of - it’s an achievement. However, artifical difficulty is not true difficulty, which means that it’s not a matter of skill if you win or not. It’s a matter of preparation.
And flexibility and excecution Skill.
Using freedom on yourself if you get Incineration, or on a teammate if it’s them who get it is not skill. You know what the boss does, you know the EXACT times when the boss is going to cast it - it’s not skill, it’s you being prepared.
Compare with PvP, learning to fakecast takes skill. You have to be aware if the enemy has interrupts up, you have to be aware of your health situation, what CDs are up, positioning, how the enemy likes to interrupt, etc. None of that is pre given when you enter a fight.
That is why i am after thousands and thousands of dungeons still at progressing +21’s and others on +30. We analyse, have logs, 4 are making videos, etc. We literally do everything to get higher. But it is only preparation? It is adjusting in split seconds. Scripted or not.
