edit: nevermind. the boss attacked a 2nd time when doing this on another char. we had to kill him on our base. this can’t be the intended way

Too slow, too late, you have put the backs up of most of the player base, quality control is patently lacking in your entire company output. Basically since a certain person left this company Chris Metzen, this has started a slide to the level of incompetence we see now, Truly pathetic. The community is losing faith in the ability of Blizzard to do anything correctly, sad state for a company that used to be looked on enviously by other game developers. Now you are becoming a joke, and not a very funny one at that. I would expect in future, that none of the player base will expect you to get anything right. God help your company if you have made mistakes in Classic, you can expect retail subs to decline massively if you have indeed messed that up.

So easy to make a Hotfix for those who have already done it (several times), because we got a new achievement, so Blizz don’t be lazy and compensate those who done it.
It is not a 2 min quest, and I think most of us already done it on more toons, so don’t tell us to do it again and again…
We are over it after the 1st Fix, so left our faith in it.

Blizz asnwer my ticket, and solved my problem with this quest “bugged”. As someone said before, this is not a 2min quest we can repeat it quickly. So I am very happy that they solved it. Bugs can happens, but if they fix/solve it and customer supports give you a solution, I will be fine. :slight_smile:

This post is not solely in response to the complete farago that is called an Heroic Warfront, which has a quest, an objective and an achievement associated with it. It is completely apparent to me that within the heart of Irvine, Ca, a problem exists.

To me that problem lies at the heads of the company, a culture of treating the player base as an annoyance, and not the reason that those same people are actually in the positions of responsibility i.e. we pay their salaries.

Since the end of WoD, that culture has fed down to the so called Games Masters, who we make out our tickets to, when something is not correct.

The responses at least from the EU based Games Masters, appears to have developed into a kind of “shrug, not my problem, nothing to do with me attitude”.

When as so called “customer service” representatives, they should move heaven and earth to give either information, a solution, or say they will pass it further up the food chain.

Getting back to the Heroic Warfront, Blizzard appear to have developed a culture of not testing anything thoroughly, which to me is completely short sighted.

If adequate testing was done before any content was released, they would not then potentially have to call people from their homes paying over time costs, which seems to me the most ludicrous business model ever implemented.

This seems to have only started in the relatively recent past for which the head of the development and testing department, should take a long hard look at themselves. If that does not lead to improvements in the future, maybe those at the head of the company should take a long hard look, at the people they appoint.

These are my thoughts please feel free, to comment or flame me in any way I will not be monitoring this thread at all, the sheer ineptitude of Blizzard is leading me to question my ongoing subscription.

edited because it seems to choose a character completely at random.

My name is Specialist Game Master Daremdekhar and I wanted to answer your ticket regarding this Heroic Warfront quest.

We have been made aware of a bug by players and the developers have given us a way to work around the problem and hand in the quest on your behalf. We must hand in the quest because of the bug that affected your character.

You’ll notice that the rewards such as the Azerite have been applied to your character and the gear is in your bags.

Thank you for bearing with us on that and congrats on finishing that Warfront. The fix should be hopefully coming very soon for this :slight_smile:

PS: HC Warfront still with bugs. On wowhead there is a blue post and it says: * Commanders no longer perform a second frontal assault after using Scroll of Town portal.

I can tell you that is NOT true yet. I did it today and Rohan came so many times to the alliance base that made us give up.

So are players who didn’t get their item the first time they did it going to get it? Because the quest required me to complete 1 Heroic Warfront which I did, nothing more. Not going to get baited again

Just recieved an answer to my own ticket. I simply asked for the quest to be marked as completed (or the rewards being send to me somehow). Waited about 1 day until an answer arrived (which is okay. There are way worse companies out there in regards to support wait times). This is the answer I’ve got:

I can completely understand the annoyance if you went through the Heroic battle and the quest didn’t complete properly! As you want to get the new, higher level, rewards! :slight_smile:
I have had a look into this and we are aware of that this quest has had some problems with completing properly. This has been fixed for future quests but to make sure you can get your reward, I have now completed this for you as well. So you can now hand in the quest for the rewards. :slight_smile:
Congrats on getting yourself the very cool Scrapforged Mechaspider though! That is a very cool mount to have! :smiley:

Can confirm doing Warfront 9 am server time and there was one enemy assault group that got stuck in a hill in the middle outpost. They shortly disappeared and caused us no trouble. Made it actually easier for us.

A GM completed the quest for me… I got the bracers… Crap, I had hoped for the shoulders or the headpiece(Last 2 items I need).
And to make matters worse! He made fun of my race and home! I shall smite him if I ever see him!
No one makes a bbq joke on a Tauren and lives to tell about it! =P

Rokhan got stuck in the middle flag point and we could kill him there and finish the warfront early. Atleast we got the quest done this time.
I don’t mean to be rude but if I produced code as buggy as this I would be without job the very next day.

I wonder if I moan to Blizz about it enough I’ll be given a 430 item other than the sodding wand my lock got for doing it. I’m curious if the fixing means you need to actually enter the enemy base now? The run i did, Rokhan appeared in our base early on and at around 50% vanished. We took Valorcall, lost Valorcall and he reappeared but this time we killed him in our base. It completed too.
