i didn’t expect russian bots to find this thread but here we are
The only thoughts I want people to accept is that being gay is not a bad thing, and does not warrant mockery, discrimination, or belittlement in comparison to heterosexual individuals.
Yes i agree, still how you can punish russia players on russia servers? When their country is ok with this?
It is very important to remember that this sort of discussion leads into eugenics very very quickly, and many people who are disabled (such as me, hello) explicitly do not want to be ‘cured’.
Pretty easily, as it turns out. When you subscribe to World of Warcraft you subscribe to its ToS.
dammit, he realised
blizz isn’t obligated to stand by any country’s law (in this regard, to clarify more specifically), they can in fact maintain their ruleset worldwide as they wish.
Apologies if it came off as advocating for that. My point was moreso that disability in media is often treated as a character arc. They start off as disabled, and end their arc with a full-functioning body, and as a result that can also lead into roleplaying of the same.
Not in China, blizz don’t own wow there
Don’t you have elections to rig in the US?
Don’t you have JK Rowling posts to retweet?
no he technically just retweeted mine
crap am i jkr
Be gone dareeka
Or post on your main
Thanks
This is pretty interesting so for example. Asmongold did stream about rolls in EU, and blizz ask him to stop it or he will get banned, bcs of EU laws. So how it works?
It’s probably not allowed in general, however a large-scale streamer doing it and promoting it to all of his audience is a higher priority than the Auction House users who just do it now and again in the trade district.
I didn’t assume you were - just a caution. I can think of trans people, as an example, who would not take a magic potion that made them their gender - and plenty of nonbinary people who don’t have a gender which can be described in simple terms.
This sort of nuance is exactly why cis people should not be allowed anywhere near them.
that’s why i specified laws around discrimination specifically. They’re very much obligated to abide by international laws on gambling.
Or you could just RP a character that would do all the things you’ve mentioned.

Basically they have an obligation to comply with authorities.
think the point was moreso that a cisgendered person rarely will understand the nuances, it’s not as simple to ‘just do all these things mentioned’
