No, that is fair. We’ve had numerous examples of the Scarlet Crusade absolutely hating mages - from Vanilla, where it was more common; fel and necromancy were still branches of arcane magic, to Joseph the Awakened / Crazed who thought mages were behind the Scarlet Crusade’s corruption, and therefore sought to purge them from the ranks of the Crusade.
We also have Grand Inquisitor Isillien’s journal, which tells us a wee bit about how he himself views mages.
The is more resilient than I had first expected.
Still, showing him the Light’s wrath has been one of my great joys these past few weeks. The heathen deserves worse - who would dare try to create something so foul from the very shadows we seek to destroy?
I knew his kind were not to be trusted.
He loathes Timolain the Accursed for seeking to create the Heart of Corruption from the very thing the Scarlets seek to destroy, but being a Scarlet, he grows to loathe all magi for the faults one.
I’m probably going to main a Skurk/tjuv, but perhaps also a häxmästare and get Vixi up to 120/60.
After having played Hearthstone, I came to the conclusion that I don’t want WoW translated to Polish. Some of the translations were hilarious.
Also to embarass everyone even more:
Värld av Krigshantverk.
Värld av Krigshantverk: Det brinnande Korståget.
Värld av Krigshantverk: Lich(or Lik)-kungens Vrede.
Värld av Krigshantverk: Kataklysm
Värld av Krigshantverk: Pandarias dimmor.
Värld av Krigshantverk: Krigsherrarna från Draenor.
Värld av Krigshantverk: Legion.
Värld av Krigshantverk: Slaget för Azeroth.
Värld av Krigshantverk: Skugglandet.
Imma join in with my glorius dutch.

Some of that is actually understandable. Other i got no clue. I love dutch.
First of all, there’s no inner human racism because skin colour has lorewise always been intermingled from the start, there’s not some faction of humans all with the same skin tone, there’s enough races to be racist against IC.
Second of, there’s no basis at all for homophobia in WoW’s setting and if your character’s only defining (Or at all) trait is hating the gays then that concept should probably return to the 2010 MW2 lobby it crawled out of.
There’s a ton of interesting flaws to play with, don’t be boring.
Also don’t ERP it’s again ToS.
Signed,
A dude with common sense.
Imagine your existence revolving around hating something that is not only the least covered aspect of warcraft in both RP and lore (sexuality) but also not present in the lore
There is even more lore on utensils.
So my character can be a murderer, a thief, a tyrant, etc. but being a bigot is just out of the question? I’m not straight IRL but I can’t really wrap my head around this logic. If a character makes you uncomfortable, don’t roleplay with them.
If the lore supports it you can… garithos was still a thing.
Big yikes.
My answer is pinned in the thread but ill quote it again
One is based in the in-universe lore, one isn’t. It’s that simple.
Friendly reminder that you’re a turbo virgin if you rp homophobia or erp
If you’re bouncing around the place force-killing people, screaming n, g, f, s or p words that’s bad roleplay dude.
I don’t know why you feel the need to defend usage of real life slurs in a videogame, just so we’re clear here I’m not talking about calling an orc uncivilized or savage; I think it’s obvious to anyone with basic social sense where the line is.
I understand there is an argument to be made that such subjects may or may not be against ToS, that wasn’t what I was addressing. What I didn’t understand was the moral argument that roleplaying a bigoted character is somehow ‘wrong’, while other immoral attitudes or actions are considered acceptable as long as they’re in-character.
They are though.
