I know that tides of war is available for Draenei as I did it yesterday. I don’t have any allied races unlocked so I can’t check.
I have submitted a bug report with steps to reproduce and screenshots and also put in a ticket asking if they can start “The Tides of War” for me.
Dunno if they still do manual quest starts but can’t hurt to ask.
So I basically created a new lightforged draenei and got to SW. I handed in the allied race quest and checked the map, the only quest showing is “The Kings Command”. This is the starting quest for pandaria. I checked chromie and I wasnt in any other expansion. Chromie only offered cata to legion. I went to the hero board and that only offered Uldum, Broken isles and Pandaria. Going to the keep turalyon is sitting on the throne, no quest. I then took the boat manually to boralus and theres no quests there either. Completely stuck with no BFA options
Yup, same (except I’m a regular Draenei, not lightforged)
I created a new allied race character. I am unable to begin the BfA questline. Chromie only offers previous expansions. I tried selecting another expansion and then returning to the “current” timeline but this appears to be Legion. I wen to Boralus on the boat and there are no quests there.
It looks like you can choose a different expansion with Chromie, but “return to the present timeline” does nothing; whatever starting quest you had before is still there.
I leveled to 50 with this character, through the timewalking campaigns. human priest, once i got to 50 I got ported to stormwind and got the quest to go to silithus and i got the heart of azeroth. (I didn’t get the lordaeron quest). However after that there is nothing, leading quests to got to bfa. I tried loggin out, changing continents,talking multiple times to turalyon, going to boralus by portal and boat, deleting the WTF and Cache folders, talking to chromie (doesen’t do anything once you’re 50)

same for me, new fresh allied race, and no BfA quest. Opened a ticket, but nothing happens, can not join my newly recruited friend who is leveling in BfA as it was the only option for him to continue from exiles reach. Sad, that something so broken gets out as a prepatch. Leveling was supposed to be the main thing in it and its broken. Also RaF is broken but that is another issue, just shows how well was it prepared.
I made 2 new characters. Lightforget paladin and gnome priest. Bfa quest popped up right after lvl up for paladin but not priest. I leveled both old ways, not exiled reach. Now my priest is stuck.
Same here. No BfA Quest. So, I reached lv 50 but didn’t get the HoA quest from Magni until I did the Legion storyline with him. After that it auto-appeared in my log. However, I initially saw Tides of War on the map, but after the Magni quest it disappeared. Blizzard, you need one more year to fix this, not a few months…

Having this problem also … this type of bug on RTM version is rly unacceptable what is the QA doing?! Sleeping?!
I’m doing quests in Boralus and didn’t got the start quest. Get a portal to boralus and normaly you will see one quest on your map. If not fligh around and you will see one. I got a quest near Bridgeport ( Tigarde Sound )
Unfortunately thats not the BFA campaign. You can take the boat there and do scrap-o-matic quest and a few side quest but thats it.
I did have to use the boost that I got on the Epic edition to work arround this problem …
This has finally been acknowledged by Blizzard over on US forums!

But they did not fix it yet
still not fixed i made a new toon played it through exile reach but i skipped the Stormwind escort part and now B.F.A. quest line is not available at the hero notice board or the hero’s herald that use to give said start of quest…so storry there is if you do make a new toon and run exile reach don’t skip the Stormwind escort and you will get BFA starter quest.
If someone of you still has the problem, I think I found a solution. As you said, there was no start quest in stormwind or on the warboard, however, I went to Dalaran and there the Hero’s harald gave me the start quest for BfA.
