- Park it at a Black Lotus Spawn point
- Wait for Black Lotus to spawn
- Pick Black Lotus
- Profit
This design flaw is being exploited more and more to the point that only 5 or 6 people will be taking all the lotus on your server soon.
So, good luck leveling your profession to max only to see one of your money earners usurped by a crappy design fault being exploited.
If it isn’t a bunch of rich bois doing it on your server it’ll be a bunch of gold sellers.
The above has already been posted here on the forums months ago but nothing has been done to prevent it. How long would it take, chaps? A 2 hour meeting and an hour of coding? Is that all? And that still hasn’t been done yet?
[edited to add:] The lvl 1s are dead. Parked at the lotus spawn in spirit form. Lotus spawns are visible as a ghost. A level 60 (or numerous level 60s) are parked in the zone ready to pick.

How do you stop loop hole abusing? well posting a how to guide on the forums isn’t the way I know that much.

Here’s the thing, bro: this has been posted on these very forums MONTHS AGO and nothing has been done about it.
It hasn’t been a secret for a very long time. Take a look at any of those four zones and you are bound to see level 1s there.
The only way to get someone to pull their finger out of their bung-hole is if this issue gets so much publicity that every sever gets infested with 50 level ones in each of the Lotus zones.
Then, finally, maybe, something will get done about it.

If it hasn’t been mentioned in months why bring it up publicly instead of emailing blizzard with your complaints instead of giving even more scummy players more tactics to abuse. Your logic just isn’t there sadly.

You literally said it is was posted months ago therefore it hasn’t been posted since or you wouldnt have said such a long period of time.
Its an open secret that your giving even more light to by this moronic post and if you truely wanted this issue to be resolved you’d take this down and email blizzard and do some proactive instead of whinging and complaining on the forums about it on the general discussion which CS rarely look at let alone act off of.

Your “therefore” is a weird deduction. The “month’s ago” indicates that the issue is not new. It says nothing about any subsequent mentions on the forums. Please learn to logic. It might save your life someday.
This issue has been reported to Blizzard but they will do nothing about a few reports. It needs to become an epidemic before it will pass through their automated reporting systems.
What are you trying to achieve by posting here? Trying to protect your gold-selling income from competition or possible bans?

What about herbalism skill? You can’t get herbalism (or any profession) until level 5 I believe. 225+ is only available to level 35+ characters.

I’ve edited the OP to to explain exactly how it works. Somehow I assumed this would have been deducible from the OP without having to write it out in long form.
Obviously the dude that posted below you wasn’t smart enough to figure that out.
Clearly, it makes a lot of sense to park your level 60’s next to your level 1’s just so you can relog 20 seconds and reload to pick the herb. Or even better, notice the herb on a level 1 char and spend 5 minutes getting there with your random single 60 parked in the zone, and it somehow does not get picked before you get there.

All you say is true. But, how can you possibly ban a paying customer to park lvl1, ghost or not, in Silithus or EPL? It s an open world. You can go with your character wherever you want. Is it moraly right? Probably not. Is it against any rule? 99.9999percent I m sure it s not.
As a side note but alchemy can easily make more money freely without Black Lotus with other pots. And in ideal scenario Black Lotus would be rare enough so that flasks would not be a commonplace anyway.
For once I agree with Healbot. Do you really think this hasnt been reported to Blizz already? It for sure has been and as Healbot said, nothing had been done about it BECAUSE IT HASNT BECOME AN EPIDEMIC YET. It already has ruined economy so it wouldnt matter anymore if it becomes epidemic and that is the only thing that makes them do something about it. If you cant grasb that basic logic then there’s no point in repeating it for you.
