I prefer spending my limited time ingame pvping instead of farming, and rarely if ever farm. the solution to respec gold is finding a build that can do pve and pvp like the seal fate build I linked, and because of not having to respect, I can now spend 100g+ a week on fun stuff, like getting the elemental deck cards, engineering reflector trinkets, and consumables for bwl without dropping under 500g, the lowest amount of g I accept having in bank
I recommend u do the same, even tho ur plan of skipping bwl for now does have its merits, I hope ur tryhard guild gives u a pass, if not find a less tryhard guild
if u cant have everything, just pick the middle ground option
edit: if I can make 100g+ a week as engineering/enchanter rogue with limited to no farming, so can u, all it takes me is a couple dungeons every now and then, or a few solo brd vault runs with 2-4 bosses cleared and bam, 100g+ a week made with no real effort
because ree meaningful choices ree no changes ree everyone should suffer
I too did spend 100g to respecs but then got lazy and just dont respec anymore. And havent heard anyone complain of anyones spec, we casually clear BWL, have the laughs and jokes here and there. Suppose our debuffs and such are far from optimal but still going under 2h for now. I have no experience of the highperformance minmax guilds but if youre in those then you just gotta go pvebuild each raid and spare 30min in cleartime.
Funny remark. But no class is fine in pvp with pve spec.
Talk about low standards⦠Every pro will farm you 24/7
If you can afford, find a player in your guild who play retail too and trade wow token for classic gold. Like 1token for 200g.
Even warriors can work in pvp with fury spec and you donāt even need to respec for raid. All it takes is using 3 points from dual wield spec to get piercing howl and improved intercept.
I had the opposite dilemma:
How do I do pve as a pvp player?
After thinking about it, I decided:
Having to farm gold for hours is not fun, pvping with pve talents is not fun, and I have been raiding for 5 years straight back in retail anyway, so I stick to pvp and donāt care. If only dual specs existed.
Playing combat sword in PvP, was a nightmare for me. No control over your opponents. And Rogue=control. Iād rather let down my instance raid, than my PvP raid.
The average BG player is pretty bad. Like I said, I dont consider PVP to be endless duels against your anticlass. In AV you can do fine as any spec, any class.
In WSG its a bit more difficult, because you can get some 1v1ās there. Avoid that and hang with your teamates.
Strictly going 1v1, fine. But why even bother with anything else than SL lock with engineering then.
Partly why I nopeād out of raiding once I got some upgrades. PvP was always my focus in this game.
Having to spend several hundred on consumables each raid and respeccing every time, while doing both PvP and PvE, the grind for gold piles up on top of it and is far too time consuming. Aināt got time for that.
I wonāt be able to do Naxxramas, but I am not losing sleep over it. Iām a Shadow Priest, I can still sh*t over most classes even with naff gear.
Just raid in PVP spec. The PVE content is very easy and quite doable even if everyone is in sub-par specs.
