remove space after https, both my links work if u do so
u cant post links in blizz forums
Better, but I would feel handicapped in pvp with that build.
yea, there is no spec u can use in pvp without shooting urself in the foot in pve for rogues other than this one sadly
edit: or variants of this
edit2: and its true, it does handicap u quite a bit, thatās why I said pick ur target carefully, u cant kill everyone in an even 1vs1 with a build that u can take into a raid as a rogue, but then again, u are a rogue, so u donāt have to do fair 1vs1s
I will rather be full geared PVP rogue and just do Onyxia and MC. Paying 100 g/week is something I can be without.
The pvpers in my guild also pay 100g per week for respecs, which is why we set our raid days next to each other, so they dont have to respec for 2 days.
Fortunately, BWL is a short raid, so eventually your guild will be able to clear MC and BWL in a single day.
Just respec every week. Should have prepared better if you wanted to rank.
not sure if forums users are flawless or if no one wanted to say this!
BUT 100g is 7$
which mean 1$ a day? thatās Nothing & you will save all the farming time xD
He plays a rogue not a hunter⦠farming 150-300g per week (depending if they raid once or twice) is not easy for a rogue especially if has a decent job/family.
You know that of course and are trolling like the low life you are.
You can effectively farm 75g or more an per, regardless of class. Farm earth/rock elementals, elemental earths are a few gold a piece.
Farm furbolgs in Winterspring - Eākoās are a gold or more a piece, and the firewaters are 4-6g a piece.
Buy runecloth off the ah, turn it into heavy runecloth bandages and sell them for twice the amount you spent on the runecloth.
Grab herbalism and farm mid-high level herbs, you can make a fortune without beating the bots to black lotus.
Seriously, thereās plenty of ways to make gold without solo farming lvl50+ instances.
Just because you donāt like what somebody is saying doesnāt mean that theyāre trolling. And if you donāt understand that little detail, you may want to reconsider who you refer to as a ālowlifeā.
I donāt personally get why people hate dual spec lol.
It was probably one of the best perks for PvP/PvE.
So I could actually shadow spec in PvP and heal in PvE, as I hate healing in PvP xD.
Bro, only several classes can do both things in the same spec. You must chose between them or change your class. Itās Classic.
If you canāt farm more than 100 gold per week + some golds for consumable, no matter what class you are using, itās a wheelchair problem. Goto Retail if you have a family and job, Classic is not made for people who have life. Otherwise, donāt rank.
My guild requires you to be PvE specced when a raid is new, but when itās on farm you can respec to PvP. Within reason, of course. If a dedicated Druid healer shifted into Moonkin and started pewpewing, that could be an issueā¦
If your guild requires you to be strictly PvE specced even when you are steamrolling the raid, probably not worth sticking around with them tbh.
join a less tryhard elite guild. This game is easy, you do not at all need to be properly specced in order to be a successful raid member.
But equally, I would say you are doing something wrong if you āsuckā at pvp just cause different spec.
It does not matter what you say, a full PVP sublety rogue with crit chance from assassination and improved gouge and backstab is 4 times as strong as a PvE rogue, and maybe 10 times as strong as a raid specced rogue.
As I said, I got my answer from you guys and then my solution is clear. I stay away from BWL because the gear is useless if I have to sacrifice my PvP power for it.
You can pretty much kill people with just good weapons and clothes as a good pvp specced rogue. Because you can keep your target stunlocked, and if the person drink a free action potion you can just remove yourself form the battlefield and try again.
I am sure that after 20 free action potions he just give you the kill lol.
So this topic is pretty much done,
- Question
- Answered
- Solution for me = Stay away from BWL.
There you go Thanks for yout time.
Be a warlock and mostly pug. I only lose out 10% shadow damage if I am pvp specced, and since we have bad damage, but useful curses weāll be taken anyway. Plus there arenāt enough warlocks, especially on ally (but doubtlessly on horde as well, everyone and their grandmother plays mage)
Bro⦠have you been raiding as arms this whole time?
Good lord man how have u not been kicked for awful dps?
Donāt get me wrong I love arms, but you cant mortal strike in raids (debuff slot is wasted and huge threat etc) and it has awful dps compared to fury etc
to answer the question yes you either stay fury and keep gold and suck at pvp, swap after raid and be good at both but lose hella gold or lose raid and keep gold and be good at pvp etc
Like said I really dont think you have to make the choice to do just one thing.
*Accept PvP as being in battlegrounds, rely on your teammates, its not all about going 1v1. If you care that much about 1v1 why roll anything else but UD SL warlock in the first place (UD to have an advantage over other SL locks, the rest you beat easily anyway).
*Accept PVE as being less hardcore. Many guilds will gladly take you on board as long as you are just doing ādecentā which is really all that is required in Classic. And for sure you could respec just a few times if the guild finally arives at Cthun or KT, not?
Join a guild that raids Wednesday/Thursday and then respec pvp for the other 12 days between.
How can you not farm 100g a week? Many classes can farm that solo in less than 2 hours.
