Hey, so, today I’m getting constant high latency 200ms on world but home is 36ms, I already bricked 2 +10 keys because of it … I cant cast spells to heal my allies, its delayed or like the server freezes, I can move around but actual game is frozen but I can still type in chat with other ppl seeing it … what is happening with the servers ? My internet is working fine, I have 15ms latency for everything, I can still speak in discord, my speed is stable 250mbit but in WoW today the latency is super bad. I tried everything, every step you provide in the guidelines and nothing helped it … I even talked with my internet provider and everything is fine on my side … I cant play the game when I’m free on weekend, great … The internet provider asked me if I know the IP address of the game server so they could try something, track and give me more information but I can’t provide it because I dont know it so. What more then the guidelined steps I can do ?
It’s really sad, because last week and other weeks it was all good and fine, I had 36ms latency on both world and home but now its really bad…
Yes, today I’ve been having 200 world ms (19 home) in arena constantly with pretty much the best high end internet connection you can have nowdays - I never lag.
Been swapping between games just to make sure and yes, it is only WoW related. Probably had to prioritize Classic v2 servers cause who cares. I think it’s only related to some servers or group of servers. On Drakt’hul the game is unplayable for the entire day.
This is what you you get from a montly paid game enjoy. Make sure to preorder the expansion that comes up in few months with early access.
Same here, fluctuating from normal to usually 200-ish ms on world. Could rise to as high as 700-ish yesterday.
Repeats today and fluctuates between normal and high world latency (again 200-ish)
Would like to know what the issue is, or how to fix it, honestly.
It’s blizzard issue on their server side, and no reply from blizzard or anything … it’s not like we pay monthly sub for the game. For me, it would come a long way from them if they would tweet or posted post about them saying that they are aware of this issue and they are working on it …
Same for me,started yesterday ,my home lagg is fine but world lagg is around 150-200 randomly getting higher when im standing logged in game.
This is not provider issue, this is blizz problem for sure.
I can confirm lag, i cant loot packs of mobs properly due to laag
Is that all ? My mage had to log out because I could not even cast a spell in random bg at 4kms.
Noticed that everytime I switched out talents I would insta start lagging between 2 -4kms and I just had to alt-f4 and log back in.
Same here
166ms now, I usually play with 60ms
yea,its good after reseting game for a while then it starts again, but blizzard says its our IPS problem
I have done troubleshooting and opened a ticket since it does not seem a ISP issue.
The answer was the default one and the ticket was closed, so I am putting evidence here, just to remember that we pay for this.
When I connect to Wow I see some connections on 37.244.61.210 I tried to monitor the path to that IP and I noticed that I pass this hop 137.221.78.33 before reaching the destination (37.244.61.210)
137.221.78.33 belongs to Blizzard (just google it). I monitored the IP for a while and I noticed an insane packed loss; there are congestion issues on the AS 57976.

Yes and no…
This time it is not a Blizz problem or at least not directly…
The problem is between Wind3 and their infrastructure (I took a look at your pathping and noticed that you are on ita servers, for the record I have the same problem as you).
The real problem starts with the hop 80.249.208.83 which is a datacenter in Holland and acts as the last hub before the Blizz infrastructure and after that everything goes downhill…
The only way at the moment is to use a VPN and with that the problem disappears so it’s a routing problem between Wind3 and the last one and 80.249.208.83 which then feeds into the Blizz infrastructure but arriving already weak because you lose packets there the connection is unstable and you lagg or get disconnected.
Anyway I have just heard from Wind3 and I have forced a system check on my line towards the various hops and the Blizz infrastructure and they will let me know later today… hopefully…
I suggest you call Wind3 and do the same by scaling the call to Italy and saying that they already have tickets for a system check from other users.
Thank you for this! I’ve been having issues since yesterday evening and I’ve tried all the fixes google has provided, but nothing has helped. I started suspecting it’s either Wind3 or Blizzard who has issues and this confirms it as I can use other services like Netflix and Steam with no issue, but Battle.net has problems.
I’ll also contact Wind3 later today for this.
Yea same form yday evening and even this morning…
As i mentioned above call Wind3 and ask to speak with tech support and ask they start a system controll/system check on your line and you are not the only one that have the issue…
While you wait… to play sadly you need use a VPN
Hey, play from Italy too, yday and today same problems, i just called wind they said from their part everything is ok and it must be a problem with video game… now idk what to do… this thing happened before in past but after few hours would solve itself, now it doesnt…
For the sake of trying to resolve the situation I will reply in Italian since the problem seems to be localised to those in italy who use wind3, so please don’t ban me for that.
ae1-br01-eqam1.as57976.net: primo nodo infrastruttura blizz
Tbf, I’m from Czech Republic, and I play on Argent Dawn, yet I have these issues, but knock on the wood, yesterday late evening it was working fine, so I guess we’ll see.
You won’t get banned for posting in a different language, however we have to point out that this Forum should be used exclusively in English.
The Italian forums have an open thread regarding this current issue with Wind/3, which is available here:
I would like to recommend any player that wants to discuss or provide information about this issue in Italian to post there
Of course everyone is also free to keep posting in this topic, but in English only.
I have written to the public IP owner explaining the issue.
From my monitoring the issue is resolving for now (after a small outage, I suspect they rebooted the gateway). I will keep it monitored…
Still having issue here… some times it seems fine then it start having problem again…
ATM only way to play for me is using a VPN
I’ve been using a VPN for the last month or so and initially it worked fine but since last week my latency went t!ts up regardless of uising a VPN or not. I’ve tried connecting from London, Marseille, Stockholm and Frankfurt but none of them make any difference. Friday and Saturday everything was fine again but yesterday (Sunday) was the worst it’s been in a long time. Today the issue started again around 18h30 server time.
Also we finally get a blue post response but they don’t acknowledge any issues on Blizzard’s end. It’s clearly a problem with one of their third-party clients in the Netherlands and yet they stay silent. The disgusting part is that we pay a monthly fee to play this game and this is how they treat their customers. This latency problem has been going on for MONTHS!
