Hunter Mark back in Shadowland : Hunter don't want that back!

As long as they keep it focused on the mechanic of stealth-prevention, by all means.

But the damage-component? We can make do without it.

The damage increase ruin all.

if cannot be dispelled.

(You can reapply it)

(play a arena when you have to reapply 25 H’M you will not get fun doing it)

You do realize that there is more pvp than just arena? Also, dispels have a cooldown.

If you cba binding 1 more button to your mouse/keyboard then just don’t lol.

I :heart:love hunter’s mark. You can really outplay stealthers with that. A most welcome change, that it will become a spell instead of a talent!

Can see why.

As long as they remove the passive boost to damage on it, it’s fine if it comes back.

I am really mad with bringing back HM. I was so glad removing it. They could bring it back only as pvp spell/talent which could be used against steatlhers. On pve it will only decrease our overall dps especially for aoe fights.

As you said “for stealthers” so HM it can be great for pvp ONLY. Its meaningless for pve.

Hunter’s Mark ist the most annoying and boring spell for PvE. I don 't even know why they would bring it back. It doens’t add any flavor to gameplay - and is just another button to to press / GCD to waste when switching targets.

Usefull for pvp, sure … - but for pve it can stay on classic realms.

My memory may be fuzzy, but if i recall the earliest versions of hunter’s mark made all members of the group cause extra damage (i think was just ranged damage first but around WotLk was for all damage types).

That, would make the hunter’s mark an interesting ability not just for the hunter BUT for all the group on raids and dungeons.

You mean like Demon hunter increasing Magical Damage and Monk Physical damage ?
But if we increase Magical & Physical Monk and DH gonna complain and it will be changed.

I prefer maybe to get it like " can’t be dispell, reveal stealth people".

Hunter’s Mark is awesome. You lazy nubz. You dont deserv to play the Hunter class, reroll dh if you can’t handle skillful abilities.

Troll post.

People that don’t like having Hunter’s mark back have the following issues:

  1. Laziness
  2. Bad keybinds / macros
  3. Clueless of the clever uses in pvp.

I would say dont feed the “ya 'mon!” but I did exactly that in another post. My bad.

  1. Don’t want to have to spend an entire GCD just for 5% damage taken increase any time you switch target.

Take it off GCD, take away the damage component, remove it all together, anything is better than having to spend a dead GCD applying an arbitrary damage taken debuff. Monks apply it automatically as do DHs, why should we have to stand still doing nothing between GCDs whilst applying it?

I agree Hunter’s Mark is not needed. After reading the work around for our class. I feel like they try make classes go back to vanilla wow days. .
Witch I personally do not like!
If people want vanilla, there is vanilla wow.
But then again, I might be the only person in wow who liked the simplicity of our tallents. Made it much easyer for me to focus in raid, not having billion abilities I need press + Focus the fight. Disappointed…

I also don’t like the idea of having to place a mark on someone before doing damage. They could integrate it as being applied by Aimed Shot to enphasis the sniper thematic, but I wouldn’t like having it as a separate spell, and I wouldn’t like having it on all specialisations.

I still hope they can still make hunter mark only revealing stealth/invis people
