there are no “real solutions”. the ones who count for pvp imbalance, the reroller tryhards, aren’t going to transfer to alliance because “muh racials”. those who are getting shafted the most, the original horde players, won’t transfer either because they didn’t start classic to play alliance. then there’s the ones who won’t transfer to alliance because faction imbalance is just too high on their server.
WHO.IS.GOING.TO.TRANSFER?
I mean, fkin hell, get your head out of your a$$. This is the same as people clammoring for dual spec so they can “tank” with their dps warr. No they’re not going to tank, they’ll spec pvp like the selfish little brats they are.
Imagine that. Imagine the people who are actively negatively affected by a change opposing it. And the people who caused the issue and now benefit from the ‘‘fix’’ being in favor of it… shocking revelations all around for sure
I would transfer, I like pvp (especially world pvp) but I don’t like to attack non-pvpers who are just looking to do a quest out there, so the idea of having a ton of hordes attacking me in every map sounds very fun to me. I am sure there are a couple other people who are like me out there… So yes a free transfer would be simple and quick fix to get some people over… (PS. not saying its the ONE solution that will fix everything)
But my guy, don’t you remember all the horde out here saying dwarf>UD, you know because dwarves have a 3min on-gcd racial which negatives some rogue pressure and rogues are played alot? You know clearly alot better than the UD racial which entirely removes warriors, priests CC, and blocks some of it for locks? But those are niche classes you barely see right?
You know, the same way humans are the most broken race because they’re specifically good on rogue mirrors? Because orc racial isnt completely broken in the same mirror, and because perception cant usually be played around by aoebreaking opener on sap, while orc racial has no counterplay?
Best change Blizzard has ever wanted to implement. I’ve enjoyed every second of the BG’s I’ve joined and haven’t joined a single premade. Most fun I’ve had since a long time.
If this doesn’t get implemented, chances are I’ll quit playing.
It’s a great change idd! Battlegrounds are important part of this game so they did a great job with this trial, and hope it will be back soon permanently.
Only short-minded donkeys cant see the long term effect of this nonsense. But yea, retards can dance wildely how they “won” and have few minutes shorter BGs pop. The smile will freeze very soon on their lips…
It’s made alliance unplayable on all medium-smaller pvp servers. Hundreds I know have transferred off my server during same faction bgs. Can’t find groups anymore, AH prices not worth farming for, horde dominate all aspects of open world. My guild transferred off, the guild I wanted to join transferred off the next week, a guy I whisped today in bg to do arenas is transferring with his guild, the guild I’m in is talking about how the server is dead and transferring is the only option RN IN GUILD CHAT. Noggenfogger was one of the bigger servers, even though it had imbalanced faction ratio. Who knows what problems smaller servers have.
yes please bring back HVH, how will new fresh geared players get gear on horde ? if que are 1 and half hour long and get camped by this stupied premades out there too get 40 honor each bg? and paid faction change wont change.
There are other solutions to BG queues and faction imbalance(free faction change, balancing/disabling racials…), anyone with a shred of intelligence knows this kills Alliance and in the longer run the entire game, as without Alliance, there is no Horde and thus no game, unless you don’t give a rat’s a$$ anymore about what Warcraft is/was.
Thank you for coming into a convo with solid arguments and hard proof on “sub cancel and mass reroll” just because some youtubers milk the feud or because it’s the internet so it must be true.
What I do know, is that while the HvH is a band-aid fix, it’s not a perma-solution. For me as a horde player it is a better pvp experience instead of totally ignoring the bg aspect of the game. I’m not even going to pretend, like 97% people here do, that I know better on what’s the grand move to balance things out. Obviously changes need to be made but how? Giving out free faction change? You can’t force people if they don’t want to do that.
