You can’t because you don’t have the capacity/judgement or knowledge to understand the consequences of boosting.
God, this is so hard. When we are talking about something that will happen IN THE FUTURE, we will obviously make assumptions. What I’m doing is putting logical estimations, based on facts and logic. What you are doing is “dun wurry its gun be fine”, which has absolutely no basis. We have made our estimations about the outcomes of boosting, and found 8-9 very harmful possible outcomes and there is a lot of threads where we argumented these in detail, such as:
Not only that we have argumented on logical bases why this will be bad for the game, we have also a huge amount of experience with all this shizzle. Do you know when paid character boosts were introduced into the game? Patch 6.0.4. You know when? Warlords of Draenor release. I was in these forums when that happened. I argued with hundreds of boost advocates like you. I saw the same arguments thousands of times when they added boosts, LFR, cash shop, every single time. Every time this same sentence was written do defend these things. “you can’t dictate how others play the game”. Thousands of times.
We are simply saying that an online game can’t live long and healthy when your real life wallet is the determining factor in a game.
And guess what? Every expansion after paid character boosts, has been smoking pieces of garbage. WoD, Legion, BfA and now shadowlands. I just recently red 2 articles on PCgamer and kotaku saying how boring it was to play after being boosted and they felt no enjoyment and quit the game after 1 week.

I saw the SuperData report and today Bellular’s video talking about how shadowlands revenues dropped by 41% and sub numbers plummeted by 69% in 2 months after the release.
And nowadays on every gaming magazine they call World of Warcraft as a “tourist ballpark MMO where you will enjoy for 2 weeks for sure”. I started classic after quitting retail only because it was classic and had no boosts, cash shop etc.
Now you boys will come here and make it all the same. It’s inevitable that this plague will spread to classic but I want to tell my part before eventually quitting it.
