I used to lead a Guild on Flamelash server and we used to have between 500 to 1000 members until recently when all my members and the entire server decided to leave the server.
Now I am here all by myself without any clue what to do.
From being on a active server with plenty of Alliance to a Dead server with no Alliance. My server died slowly and the people remaining are suffering.
Blame your faction!
Which prefers sits in IF give up and not fight i am more than sure all pvp realms will be Horde.
At this point i question what these Blue faction players see behind word : Alliance
How and why is Blizzard supposed to balance your realm? You made the concious decision to roll on that realm and made an equally concious decision to stay on that realm and now you complain about the consequences of your action asking for an outer force to fix it?
Make people join a faction they don’t want to be and play on a server they don’t want to play on? Magic people out of thin air to play Alliance? Force Alliance players from PvE servers to transfer to PvP servers?
First of all they can prevent this situation from happening again quite simply, put a limited number of transfers available per server in the future.
Secondly to fix the situation, they have to make free transfers (WITH LIMIT) from alliance dominated servers to horde dominated servers and visa versa.
I dont know what seems so difficult about this, it’s how they used to do it, just not with a limit, they really should add that limiter.
And yes I know that you say “but whos gonna do those transfers” but there IS people that do those transfers and it might take time but it will fix the issue slowly. Those transfers blizzard has set out has been rushed a LOT in attempt to spread out people from both factions across multiple realms and they havnt thought of the consequences.
Blizzard already did Horde only transfers away from faction heavy servers and how many servers had that option? Two! So either the factions are more evenly balanced than people think or maybe only two servers deserved, by Blizzard’s reckoning, intervention.
As for Alliance dominated servers, I couldn’t help but laugh. From reading the forums the only Alliance dominated servers are PvE, because Horde are the dominant faction on all the PvP servers other than ZT…perhaps.
Sometimes I wonder how people can lack empathy and sympathy for players what are in peril.
Please stop the “You were warned” or “Go back to retail” motto.
It is not constructive and no one was warned that there would be 80 players camping you from the flight path to the instance entrance and even if this was the case it is out right stupid to think people would be ok with this.
Besides the toxic community the server issue is something Blizzard could and should take care of.
When we had our initial character creation 15 days prior to launch Blizzard had the statistics on how a server would be.
I don’t think even the most toxic player would be happy if they hunted down the opposite faction to extinction and have 0 WPVP. I myself is on an unbalanced server and have started leveling a new toon on Ashbringer.
What Blizzard should do is very simple, add faction specific queues, merge servers and offer faction specific transfers.
Otherwise as soon as Paid Character Transfers are open all servers will be like Flamelash.
If you are that disconnected from your guilds community you are a bad guild leader. Dont you have a discord or something to communicate outside the game?
