Are you currently in the Blizzard team making up these decisions? If not stop talking as if you were with self-declared authority.
It worked 16 years ago and was probably working as ââintendedââ back then. Today is a completely different situation with too many noâlifers making the experience miserable for everyone else, it requires a fix.
He hasnât even played vanilla outside of private servers, he doesnât really know what he is talking about. #NoChanges except when it suits him, just ignore it.
I told you they dont care I would prefer losing from pugs and afkers than premades where there is no challenge for them. These guys not the majority just circles of friends there and there easily make nothing pass imagine if they are comin from inside blizzard some of them.Just go with the zombie flow there is now and lets observe.Dont give up if you play and call in chat correct sometimes you can win the premades aswell.
This is sadly one of those ideaâs that sounds really simple and good in theory, but in practice works out very badly. Some private servers have tried this before, i believe even nolstarius did for a bit although, i never played on that server so canât recall for certain.
When this happens it basically kills the premade que very quickly, as for a majority of premades it becomes better to just que as a pug. Once you factor in the effort to make a premade, and the on average longer premade que, you quickly reach a point where itâs only worth queing premade for players winning 60% + of there games at a speed faster than the average pug game. In reality only a minority of premade teams reach this target. much less than 40% youâd think at first glance, which quickly causes masses of premades to disband.
When they disband it rises the average skill cap of the premade que, making those goals even harder to reach, and making it so some premade teams who were doing good on the first week of premades, are no longer winning enough. So they also leave repeating a cycle that leads to a dead premade que. In reality classic is so much bigger than any private server, i doubt it will die completely, but it would only be worth it for the very best premades.
Honestly who cares if premades would die by themselves if we got a change like that? It would just prove that they were only in for easy pug stomping and best honor per hour.
Most premades donât like a challenge thatâs why they are so against a system change where they would only get paired with another premade, they only like easy games.
You can discuss whatever you like. What you canât do is say âsomething isnât working correctlyâ when it is infact, working exactly as intended.
The honor design was awful, which is why Blizzard abandoned it with TBC. But itâs back for Classic because itâs part of Vanilla, itâs part of the core gameplay that people asked for.
You canât pick and choose which parts of Vanilla you want and which parts you want to be rid of.
Thatâs not what working correctly means. Whether you like it or not is utterly irrelevant, âworking correctlyâ means working as intended.
I canât polymorph mobs that other players are fighting. That is exactly what Blizzard intended; therefore it is working correctly.
Everybody is in the same battleground queue, that is exactly what Blizzard intended, therefore it is working correctly.
If each and every person could pick and choose which parts of Classic we wanted, we wouldnât have classic. Whatâs weâd have is a hybrid abomination full of contradictions.
Given that the queue system hasnât even changed on retail, why would they change it on classic?
Furthermore, do you really think that changing the queue system is going to have no affect on the meta of the game?
Do you really think a changed queue system is going to make the game âfairâ for you?
Just vote with your wallet. Guilds already started disbanding due to inactivity on our server, when they see more leave due to the âintendedâ PvP matchmaking they will learn to listen to the majority and not some kiddies that spend 20 hours in front of the PC.
Plenty of players do genuinely enjoy good premade vs premade games. They can be extremely fun and satisfying, but right now most people are doing pvp for ranks not fun. I donât really want to destroy someone elses ability to have fun, so i can have fun pugging unless there is no other option. I donât personally believe that is the case
A lot of other games have that as an option - if you are a premade - you face only premades - that wshould be here as well but Blizzard does nto acctually cares - they care onyl to get money for you and do stupid updtes and make the game really easy - vanilla was not easy and TBC was not - premades were sooo damn rare - classic is all about premade and nothing else⌠( as of a pvp aspect ofc )
Did you seriously, proposed people that are about to quit, because the donât enjoy a big part of WoW, to wait for a year?
And no, people did not asked fir this. They couldnât ask for it, because no one could known how bad it is gonna be.
Screw up the honor system, is your concern? Screw honor system, we say.
I play in a casual premade. I mean, we are random players and donât have optimal setup. About 7 games are against high rank premades (over 10), 2 are against pugs and 1 against an equally organized and geared premade. I enjoy only 1 in 10 games. Maybe 2, if we meet a good pug and itâs 3-2 nodes.
Yes, should be like maximum 3 people that can join together to WSG and AB. This means you can still go with some of your friends and that you will never meet a full premade that stomps u in 7 mins.
Yes, they did. This is exactly what people asked for when they asked for Vanilla.
Literally every single person that created an account on Classic had access to the knowledge that this is what the game would be like. People have been illegally playing Vanilla for years, this is exactly what it was like.
To which I politely say: screw you.
This is the game that crowds of people asked for for over a decade. This is EXACTLY what we asked for. If you ask for something to be changed just because it benefits you, youâre outright self entitled.
As are most premades. The hardcore rank grinders are in a minority, a minority that wil dwindle and dwindle when more and more people get their r14 rewards.
Thatâs a problem on your end and perhaps youâre simply playing the wrong game.
I write a nice lengthy post detailing my objections to somebodyâs request and choice of words and your response is âlol ex deeâ.
First and foremost, I said whether he likes the system or not is irrelevant to whether or not it is working. Perhaps one ought to read before responding to somebody?
Those in glass houses probably shouldnât throw stones.
Ok. I thought we were discussing something, but you are obviously just trolling.
-Yes I did (an idiotic statement).
-Screw you (like I am not only one of so many people asking for the same thing).
You are a stereotype of a keyboard hero. And not even a smart one.
Little man.
PS: not even posting on your main character? Maybe you donât play classic. Or you are a coward. Or both.
