MVPs can post their opinions like anyone else. They have got their status because they tend to post usefull posts (like help people, usefull links etc.). Not because all their posts would be usefull for everyone. They are just posters like us.

and the “resorting to naming my MVP status” is merly like pointing out a police flipping you off its not they are not allowed but its not what you expect from some 1 in such function and i find that very disappointing behavior
in this cause assuming to hardly belief that anyone could meaningful play allot of characters as meaning is for everyone different
I know I’m have rather a lot of alts myself but I just level them and abandon them 
They get kitted out in token gear and that’s about it.
Professions have been pretty underwhelming this expansion so I’ve not even done much on the bubble army.
I think I have one or two char slots left, and one Ally Mechagnome that isn’t 120 as I gave up when I hit heritage.

MVPs are not any way comparable to police and they don’t have any special weapons except soothing color of green in their text. MVP disagreeing with you or not understanding your point of view is no different from anyone else doing it on these forums (except perhaps in sense that you can be pretty sure that even in heated argument they don’t resort in vulgarities). Just because someone has green text doesn’t mean they have to agree with every single poster all the time (and how would it even be possible).

I equally have a similar opinion about RP players. It’s not something I could ever do, I can’t imagine being the character and role play it. I think it takes a great imagination and a different way of engaging the game that I simply don’t have in me.
That does not mean I am slating RP players. That means that me, as a person can’t imagine myself RPing. Just like I don’t know how anyone meaningfully plays that many characters. I don’t know how they do it.
Maybe I’ll use a real life example then you can comprehend it better. Bob does a full time job Monday to Friday, at weekends Bob likes to run a rollerskating club. I can’t imagine how Bob has the time to work full time and run a club at weekends without burning out. Bob is not insulted by my comment, Bob is passionate about rollerskating and wants to teach others and share his favourite interest. I am not saying anything derogative about Bob.

Poor Bob!
I have several friends who do nothing but level chars. One friend in particular spends her time making up different outfits, then getting us to vote on them, she posts them on twitter and facebook. I don’t know how she does it. It’s how she plays and has great fun.
I imagine she equally doesn’t understand how I do everything on one character and repeatedly raid

I cant even imagine how people raid.
In legion I raided normal and a little heroic.
After 2 tiers I wanted my life back. To be able to go out instead of telling people “nah I’m playing video games”

you can be political correct about it but the meaning of this still the same saying your own experience further in the post ending with that it confuses you that people want more then 50 chars or run multiple accounts
reflecting your own play style that on others
what people got me confused about with the police statment was that no i dont think mvp got special powers but they do have a special status that gives them a higher platform then others and that is why i was saying that it was like some1 in special power (in this case a police) flipping you of
in your cause your opinion and assumption of how others play or should play in combination with your status is what triggered me
what i was hoping more from a mpv is either come post with factual data of why it technically isn’t possible or to blizzard post of why it couldn’t or constructive post on a more neutral ground
or create a alt forum account without the special status to post your opinion then thats why i pointed you on your mvp status

As quoted I just stated how I don’t understand how people can meaningfully play lots of characters. That is all I said.
I did not state that people cannot meaningfully play that many characters which is what you are trying to infer. For some reason you can’t just say ‘sorry I got it wrong’.

That is the error, you shouldn’t hope from MVP anything else than other posters cause they are posters just like you and me. Their opinion is not any more weightful or important than ours. They got all the right to express their own, even it’s “i don’t understand…”.
Please don’t turn this into MVP hate thread when we are discussing about important matter of getting more character slots. Which i still want to have.

Talk about those slots! Whilst I personally don’t need any more no one is going to say no to more slots. It might cause some upset with people who felt they had to run second accounts.

for me it still sounded like a assumption and personal opinion about the playstyle of others and together with the status i still think that was a weird combination
and i cannot apologies for that
as for me they do have a example function and should be more neutral or change char without the status but guess thats just me
and my apologies then for my hostile approach then as most admit that combination hot day and the hate against a feature that has no impact on other then those who want it confuses and irritates me and my wording may not have been to subtle
but dont wana derail the topic to much anymore hope this statement was enough to get a better understanding of what im trying to say and otherwise apologies for not getting the right word to bring the message of what im trying to say over

I honestly just think you got the wrong end of the stick with what I was saying or maybe I need to elaborate more in future if it’s not clear. 
I think only players who play this way can explain why they need more slots. And for that we need moar discussion (on topic).

totally agree on that 
for me my reasons are to rp them as the band adventures and give them also elaborated background stories and such.
and with that you do grow quite found of them over time specially if you play and rp with friends but also just solo.
so deleting for me would be like a cruel thing to do unless the char either story wise dies or something bothers me with the char in the end and cannot feel attached to it.
and with the stories since every race and gender in my opinion would technically be present in the lore you end up with 48 characters but since i also got a extra nelf and extra belf since the introduction of demon hunter and i got 2 extra tauren i made waaay back in burning crusade that i grown attached to i would have ended up at 52 character. which causes complications + plush the fact that maby in the future more allied races can possible come. ( its almost also like people who like to collect cars or paintings and such )
for me the 13 e a month is doable but 26 euro a month + re buying wow+ shadow lands again is a bit to much for me so the option " just buy a second account" doesn’t go up for me and i do want to be able to access my chars at all time and not 1 month lock out of 1 set of chars and the other month the other half. so paying 1 month for 1 and other month for the other isn’t a option for me either
- i may also have a char for each class of a curtain race because i really like them which driven the total number up to
