The biggest advice i can give you, is play m+ as tank and do your own keys.
Prot pally is in a really good spot and you can play it with the same stats as ret without mayor problems.
The only negetive is that you need to get a 1 hander and a shield 
So dont do it and wadte hours in que complaining when others with decent score get instantly in .
Its your choice.
Yes i sympathize with it but solutions is Simple run your own keys they downgrade them when finished and run again . That’s what i do and have no problem to find 465+ 2k scored players joining my keys.
Plenty of 3-4 Man premades runing for wyrm crests once they are done with aspect crests farm
You just have to be patient a bit for one to show up instead invite random dps to early

Its not about YOU. Its about the other 100 DPS competing for the same spot you apply to.
You are a ret pala. A the most popular spec in the game basically, there are 10000 more just like you. That HAVE done those dungeons in 18. While you… have not…
So, conclusion: There are atleast 3000 ret palas with more IO than you.
So. The solution: Raise the IO score by timing the dungeons you are missing.
It sais on your wow armory that: ToT: 9. Fall: 8. DHT: 3 EB: NONE.
Well start there. Because in THAT case, YOU are at an advantage with all the other people quewing for that ToT 10 that have NOT done WM 17.

And FYI: For next time, its not about elitism. Its all about demand and offer. And its a process you and everyone else has to go through.
You expect too much from people. To trust that you can do ToT in 18 when you haven’t even done it in 10. Do it in 11, 15 first. Then apply for 18s. Its borderline asking people to carry/rush you to 2500 io.
Follow the same process we all have had to go through. Even the pros had to do ToT 5 early in the season. You cant escape that.

The real issue with m+ is the unnecessary punishing mechanics such as the deplete. Those mechanics give even more reason for players to invite super overqualified players, over what’s realistic. That’s why m+ is so “elitist”.
There is literally no reason for this to exist.
I’m sure that some people will argue that there is, ill just say one thing because i’m tired of having this “conversation” You’re wrong, and you don’t know wtf you are talking about.

Elitism would be waiting half an hour for an overgeared player instead of inviting whatever’s listed.
And for people complaining about background checks being too much:
I’ve just tried to pug tindral HC where P1 was a disaster and the leader died every time instantly. Everyone left and he had the nerve to reform it saying “20%” to lure in experienced players.
Some players’ conduct is absolutely disgusting so don’t be surprised people want to pick whom they play with.
I have rather nice experiences with pugs though .
Like 80-90 percent of runs go super smooth and nice untill keys like 18-19 .
Yes there are occasional runs which goes badly but its ok - its because of trash players underperforming or failing Basic mechanics.
You just leave those runs and reque.
I learned to not speak to them , not interact with them - just put them on ignore and moce on - they are not worth your nerves .
Yeah, been farming BRH for the sword, done +17 at 28:45 (gotten even better gear since then) being the top dps during the boss fights this week.
Maybe not the super mega best, but you’d think it be enough to gain access to +18 without much issues.
The fact that i end up spending about as much time staring at the party finder as doing the actual dungeon is why i will keep insisting on them adding some form of queue for m+. Toss in some bonus rewards for carrying lower keys as well.
Nono the problem is people who think that u need meta to complete a key that the problem.

So you leave someone’s key because you wipe?
Asking this because you say ‘You learned not to speak’ but I think you should act differently cause if people dont know a ‘basic’ mechanic, why dont you take 20 seconths to explain it, especially considering there’s old dungeans in m+pool.

Most of the “elitism and toxicity” is due to how m+ is designed.
Everything else stems from that.
You guys are looking at the symptoms instead of the illness.
As for meta… i mean, people will always gravitate towards what’s better. Especially if it’s significantly better, you can’t really fault people for that.

But yeah, the meta issue hasn’t exactly been helped by the addition of one support spec.

Well how do they need to design it then if u have a better solution, i have one dont decrease the key level by failure if u complete the key.

Well yes, that is what i suggested. The deplete should not exist.
Or at the very least we should have a charge system.
There is no positive outcome from the deplete existing, not a single one.
Yeah, the bricking is the single most frustrating aspect of m+.
But then for blizzard it ensures that players have a harder time to practice any particular dungeon…
