This char isnt name himmler anymore because most people cried over it everytime. The past is the past people need to get over it.
Some people can practice the whole day and still be terrible
And that’s a problem because?
Why are we making excuses, trying to artificially make the game more difficult and most of all, annoying to deal with, for a “problem” that is is either subjective, or already exist.
Oh but removing deplete will make boosting easier! So? Boosting already exists.
If anything this would make it less of a problem, so when you get a boosty boy in your group you can just kick and re queue with no expense on your part.
Oh but this diminishes the value of failure and there should be a punishment! First of all, no one plays games to be punished, second of all, only the key holder is punished. No one else.
Like, every single argument that you can make for deplete, is easily disprovable and clearly bs. Or they are leaving out some important piece of information in order to make their arguments more credible, but that’s called lying by omission.
It’s backwards thinking, it’s people who instead of making an argument for why deplete is good, they start with the premise that it is good, and try to manipulate words and arguments to suit their points. All because they wanna “pride” themselves for “achieving” something. Oh i never complain because i’m just that good!
Imagine raids but with a punishment system like m+, people would riot, yet some of these same players are apparently fine with m+ being like it is now, frankly speaking, because they don’t think.
You are comparing apples to oranges. Raid main goal? Kill the boss and thats it. M+, the whole dungeon is one big “boss fight” on a timer(although raids bosses technicly have a timer as well = boss enrage). Remove deplete and you pretty much “cant lose” an m+ run, it becomes a sandbox mode where everyone is a winner. To have a challenge, there needs to be a risk of losing, remove that and M+ becomes nothing more than a glorified target dummy.
i know you keep saying that on every thread like that and as you can see your own good experience doesn’t mean others experiences are not real. i don’t like leaving keys because that’s another stupid thing to do wasting everybody’s time i just wait till someone else leaves before i leave. you know and experience the toxicity of the game, choosing to ignore it and then come here and say this game is not toxic
I also don’t like that.
I only really left one key, but it was just impossible to complete, the others were just too bad, not a single player was good.
Not really. As another m+ runner myself. Toxic people and toxic runs exist sure, but to say that the whole m+ is toxic, that every run is toxic. No, I disagree fully, A few bad apples here and there does not spoil the entire bunch as some forum posters fanatically claim.
Play your own keys then?
Great now let me go for that 1/8 chance to get the key for the dungeon you need!
Ohh no having to play a Dungeon a few times, THE HORROR!
Yep Black rook hold and Atal and Waycrest is all I seem to get on this Pala >.<
I still haven’t completed a single Everbloom
Either way, i think the m+ system is underutilized.
It could be way more than just a few dungeons.
Honestly, i don’t think 8 dungeons per season cut it, like at all.
I wouldn’t put all the blame on these mystical m+ elitists (haven’t met them yet). The problem is - people take “declined” or “not invited” personally, for some reason.
99% of my keys - I run my own and thus invite 4 other players to the group. I play as a solo healer, and this role is in the highest demand. Usually when I list a key (atm between 12 and 15) - I get so many applications, that it’s physically impossible to assess them all and even have a fair thought - “I will invite this guy”.
I have my criteria who do I invite, and usually it’s:
- group comp (buffs, cr, lust, utility, cc, etc., I avoid having 2retri palas, etc.)
- affix (naturally, I will invite more dispellers on afflicted week, and ignore most of warriors, DKs, rogues, hunters, …)
- dungeon (in some cases, I might want certain classes to make the dungeon easier - faster interrupt, curse dispell, aoe knockbacks, etc.)
- score / main score / score from S2
- ilvl
These are my criteria when I pick my pugs for keys. This way I got all +20s last season, also out of few hundred keys I did - only 3 or 4 failed, and yet to fail a single key this season. Is it elitist not to invite all 200 applicants that want to join? If yes, then I am an elitist as well.
P.S. atm I am doing 12-15 keys on 450ilvl resto shaman and there is no way someone would invite me, a non-meta low ilvl healer to their group
amazing solution i’m sure they didn’t think of that
Apprently not, if he get’s mad about getting declined by some “Johnny’s”.
But hey, sitting on the Forums or Queing up for Hours surely will make him get invited more often and faster, right?
In addition to that, how is it that these comments are always coming from people who exclusivly play DPS? If they would form there own groups as often as they said, they would quickly realise the sheer volume of DPS queing and would quickly realise, why noone is inviting THEM.
But i guess it’s more convenient to just be like “Other people’s fault”
you can’t always make your own group it makes the progress a lot slower.
no it’s not it’s the game’s fault. you don’t seem to understand that part but the real issue is the system here. of course people complain about other people but if those people didn’t have a reason to be this picky & looking for boosts everytime , we wouldn’t have these issues
People are this picky because a lot of people are failing at very basic things, like moving their character.
I’ve had several runs in AD where we get packs coming for us when we engage rezan because people can’t walk without pulling. I’ve been ganked several times because someone pulled the stealth guy and I got aggro on him from healing and then he appears and ganks me.
You don’t seem to understand that this has been the same BS since forever, back in the days it was Linking Achivements and Personal Inspects and only if you passed this did you even get to raid in Pugs, now a days nothing changed only difference is there is no Gear inspect/linking achivements anymore, now we can see it all in one Go as iLvl and Rio. It’s also absurd how you think other people are “looking for boosts everytime” they just want to have a better chance at timing there keys, it’s just that simple.
I mean would you call a Car Mechanic to have your Plumbing fixed or a Plumber? Obviously you take the guy with the better credentials, same goes for M+ i don’t invite a guy with 50 Rio and 446 ilvl to 20’s
You’re crazy if you think this is a “new phenomena”.
Or Alternatively they could take 1 min to research what to expect in the dungeon? would that be a possibility?
Look, i get what you’re saying, but there are multiple Guides in Video or Text form, people can just look those up BEFORE applying for keys.
