They said that in this expansion they are getting a bit back to the roots (even though they said sth similar for BfA). They might be focusing more on the basic stuff like better talents, reputations, quests, professions, dungeons etc without spending too much time on systems like covenants, island expeditions, tourghast, warfronts…
Its probably much easier to develop new and beter reputation than island Expeditions or Covenants.
This is also true, ppl asking for blessings and auras back that actually dont help the class at all (imo), making blizz focus on the wrong things for the class. Just gotten burnt so often by mainly playing ret.
I have a strong feeling that we’re gonna see a lot of rehashed models. A lot. Otherwise they’d never release it in 2022, but none of us expected anything original I’m sure. I’m currently doing the explorer achi and it reminded me of how little they create from scratch.
And we are still all here… yaaaay WoW fans are a speciall type of mmo fans.
We will stick trough any malicious compliance and anti player crap blizzard holds on us indefinetely. And we will still keep their ship afloat and be happy about it later
Critizese any of us or it. And we will treat it like an insult on our own mothers and fight you with our entire life force about it later
Well as the game is so massive there is always something to do even if the current expansion sucks. Maybe like 30% of my time played currently is current content. I basicly do the callings and ZM dailies sometimes… I am basicly just catching up with the old content that I missed.
That’s one way of looking at it, however a very subjective and biased way, based on your experiences and opinions and the assumption that all players think like you.
Honestly, the only thing this gaming company has done that negatively affects my gaming experience is some legacy content is still too hard over three years after it’s relevance. But then again I can wait, eventually it will be open to me…
That’s it, everything else I like, sure some expansions I like more than others, but if something bugs me too much…I just don’t do it.
If this game wasn’t fun, I wouldn’t be here…indeed I question that sanity of obviously not enjoying the game…yet still persisting to play it.
‘‘If you have critisim about the game why are you still playing? They must be insane’’??
Think most of people still likes allot of other things about the game. They propably like the things they critize too. Like some people loved renown and covenants. But hated conduit energy at the same time. They still kept playing wow… It’s not that insane
So really you do enjoy it, just some aspects are not to your personal preferential liking?, (smiles)
That’s like a lot of things, is there anything that is truly perfect?
Where I see the insanity, or maybe too strong a term, maybe that I just fail to understand is the excessive negativity on forums, coupled with the contempt for people who do actually like the game, and don’t find as many faults as the person targeting them.
I mean, yeah call me a fool and naive, but to do so when you are stood in the same camp, that I just don’t understand.
This game personally for the my life situation, and my available time, and my gaming needs gets pretty close to perfect at times. Very few MMO’s are as casual, pick up and play as this one and my circumstances have changed vastly since I first started playing.
I’m now a Mum to a child with very complicated disabilities and SEN needs, I have a professional career and I just like now, to mosey about collecting things and grouping and adventuring exclusively with my husband.
I am aware a lot of criticisms of systems come from players with different needs, yet that’s the beauty of WOW…how much do you really know about the Hunter, Warlock, Warrior rubbing shoulders with you at the mailbox
well i have tried to pre purchse the £ 74 copy , no dice wont complete the purchase blizzard say its not there fault, my bank says the fault lie’s with blizzard so if i can i will buy from amazon if not thats it , from what i see posted on the forums and the net its going to be second rate anyway so i am just going to wait and see now and maybe buy if its good enough
I find it odd or perhaps I have missed it. Normally a week to two weeks after the pre purchase is released, blizzard would always announce x number of copies sold on day 1. So far I have seen nothing.
Given the proposed amount of (largely welcome) changes, I suspect there will be a very small game at launch if it comes this side of 2023, with more content coming in as time goes on.
