i can live with you being wrong
It’s okay, just pixels… A break might be good for you, have a break
try harder please
with what?
I’m not the emotional here, you are, I just try to help you… You continue to reply despite you saying you didn’t want to, it shows how invested you are - take a break
with trolling. Keep going ill say when you get better
I don’t troll, now you namecall again… Let it go friend
mmm still bad
sighs
We could use a food spam here to brighten the mood though.
I say we don’t chase Spambot away!

Don’t lash out at others blaming them for your own lack of self control.
Pretty much this, learned it the hard way. (Not ingame however.)
I found it best to stay silent than stir the mood with an unruly yell… it’s just not worth turning peeps against yourself, let alone get a not so good type of attention.
there’s topic for foodspamnonsense keep it there. this is a serious topic with serious and important conversations
I don’t try to troll, so i don’t know what you imply… Maybe if you just relax a bit and realise this is just a game, then you wouldn’t have the need to write like you do to others
i wanna say you’re getting better at this, but I never lie
Alright, then lets take it for a second to dwell on…
I play on this char I post on, like you I didn’t decide to create a bunch of chars and try to find a name that I might think would offend someone - you did.
I do read the replies and I answer to such, my first reply in this thread was a general thing and I took in one thing that wa ´s being said over and over - and you didn’t read, but took the one thing and answered with something odd.
and this reply from you, I mean phew - some issues huh?

just look at all the softies that wrote “highly offensive” xD dead give away. people who get offended on the internet and find things highly offensive are mentally weak.
We both know who’s the troll here, right? And you really aren’t good, not many here put you on that high.
Getting better? well yoou didn’t set the bar high - you are not even worth anyone report and hide your post.
And the namecalling, geez, emotional when you are best - this is still just a game mate, no need to get so invested you need to create troll chars to get back a people you don’t know
Too long again like I said before, keep it short and sweet, try again.
And sorry mate, I need to get to my group, so i don’t want to spend more time reading your answers, you can think you “won” this forum game, but you are to the end the sad one of us - just chill, still just a game

Good call, you should always retreat, it’s not healthy to act like you do
hf
You cant even chat in trade now without getting frozen out for 30 secs. If I ruled wow id have a realm for normal people and a realm for snowflakes thats empty and there is nothing there. They would probably still be offended by that.

I do have to smile that, according to some, the players are to be blamed others getting in trouble for their bad behaviour.
They are to be blamed for considering as “Bad behaviours” a huge amount of things that are just perfectly normal behaviours, to the point that most in game chats are simply not used anymore.
The playerbase would rather use Discord because talking in game, in itself, isn’t safe, no matter what you say. If you are a new or returning player, there are so few messages now that you wonder if there is still anyone playing WoW.
This is what happen when you give a crowd of extremely biased people the right of censorship and call it “social”.
And please, don’t make us laugh with your story of “A GM reviewing your situation”.
If you have ever interacted with the system, you know it is fully automated, and by the time you could get ANY answer from a real person actually reviewing your chat logs, your ban already came to an end.
See, we have examples in this very thread:

1.Making fun of someone, disguise it as a joke have the other person sit there and take it when in fact is abuse.
Peoples who abuse the word “abuse”, twisting it’s definition, and should never have access to censorship tools.

Peoples who abuse the word “abuse”, twisting it’s definition, and should never have access to censorship tools.
To my knowledge when you use " around the word abuse when you try to use it the way you do, then you infact don’t use it correctly.
Censorship tools is a bit much… Streetching this far more than it really is.
Making a joke with the intention of hurting, pulling someone out so everyone can laugh or trying to target someone is infact abuse; bullying if you like, but censorship it is not.
It is a possibility to act when someone is stepping over a personal line, and that line is a not something you can define for others.
Punching someone in the face and laugh afterwards saying it is just banter and friendlyness is only that if the recieving party think of it, the same is the written things; If I accept you making fun on my behalf, then we have consensus and that is good, however if this is done without me being in on it, then I have the tool to help me, and that is not censorship, this is a guideline to other to say: be mindful of others

The problem with this safety system is of course this, because there will always be people who abuse the system.
You mention Discord is a safe place, but from all the drama I have seen on various places and specially on WoW discord servers, then I can’t say those aren’t safer - If someone decide to target you, then you are at the hands of people those places, and that can also be a problem if you aren’t favoured in the situation.
I can imagine the number of reports vs the declining number of staff on Blizz made them create the social contract, in the hopes that people would be more mindful and not use the report button as much - looking at the number of flaggs on this forum, I can imagine the number ingame is the same, and we have a situation that isn’t being resolved and possibly the wrong persons judged.
I was always told: if you can say it to you 2 grade math teacher, then you can say it out loud (my math teacher was a very stern and puritan woman), and that of course means I have to be considerate of others.
If I really wrote what was on my mind on this forum, I bet even you would flagg me as fast as you could - but I stil wouln’t call it censorship.
No, that’s not how it works. You don’t get to be racist or swear, for example, and then claim, oh it’s just others who are to blame. You are the only one to blame for your own behaviour.

No, that’s not how it works. You don’t get to be racist or swear
Lol, of course you had to go with racism, almost tempted to pull a Godwin’s law aren’t we?
Racism, and for the matter excesive swearing, were already punished long before we had all this social contrat BS, considering racism is literally illegal.
The problem is that now, you can get punished the same way for much, much more trivial things. Because nobody will check that what you said was actually problematic.

To my knowledge when you use " around the word abuse when you try to use it the way you do, then you infact don’t use it correctly.
Isn’t “abuse” mostly the improper use of something? That’s how we use it in France at least.

Censorship tools is a bit much… Streetching this far more than it really is.
Well… You can get someone banned for saying something you don’t like. That’s pretty much censorship to me.

If I accept you making fun on my behalf, then we have consensus and that is good, however if this is done without me being in on it, then I have the tool to help me, and that is not censorship, this is a guideline to other to say: be mindful of others
The tool to help you is the ignore button.
And if someone was actually doing it too often, to the point of becoming harassment, well, it was already a motive for ban long before the “social” contract became a thing.

If I really wrote what was on my mind on this forum, I bet even you would flagg me as fast as you could - but I stil wouln’t call it censorship.
Unless you are going further than what is allowed by the law, being racist as an example, even if I might very well hate what you say, I don’t believe I have a right to stop you from saying it.
