Has already 3 posts created flagged due the insults, inappropriate language . In all his posts you already replied , but somehow you avoid that part that hes insulting others .
That is the most bizarre assumption I’ve seen on the forums yet.

And flagging shouldn’t be this easy nor should it hide posts.
This iteration of flagging is the dumbest feature they’ve added.
If it’s easy to do then everyone will just do it willy nilly and for no real reason other than getting that small happy chemical tingle you get from feeling like the victim, imagining you’re helping others or fighting your enemies.
If you can’t bother or can’t explain in a 5min form what happened and why it’s a problem then you weren’t offended, trolled or had a problem with it. You were catching a high.
On top of that it only floods the minuscule mod team with more nonsensical things they don’t have time for and when the company is cheap they don’t hire more personnel to deal with the high influx of reports. They automate it.
Automated ban systems gets abused by the users because the company gave the users the ability to do so. Leading to more false flags and more toxicity.
Automated post hiding is yet another incentive for the users to abuse the system and even if something is so offensive that it needs to be hidden, hiding it will only the trigger the monkey brain to look.
The flag button should only take you to their support page where you’d have to select several categories and fill out a minimum word form answering: what, where, when and why.
After doing that it gets sent to the moderator whom gets to decide if any action is needed.
If that mod finds that you somehow misused the report system actions may be taken against you.
A report system should not give users the ability to moderate themselves nor should it reward dopamine hits like a cheap mobile ad game.
Unless the goal is to create a toxic cesspool then have at it ^^

To flag a post , you should have to write a valid reason but after all every time there is a thread like this the same few people jump in and make it worse and try to police it.
Now I’m curious, who made the cut for you and who is now banned without knowing it?

Forum rules were broken, people flagged, human moderators (not bots) dealt with it.

I think someone said this further up as well, but the categories for flagging are wrong. There are many posts that break the rules but I can never find the right category when trying to flag as the more detailed descriptions they give don’t seem to cover the problem. If that were fixed, maybe flagging would work better
I am chilled , i think i just put that green on ignore to save anymore hassle.
I remember when we used to get a text box we could fill in. But I guess it’s more helpful to streamlined moderation to have categories.
Would be nice to add context sometimes though.
