Is there ways to deal with a ninjalooter in WoW Classic?

I understand that it might be smart to run dungeons with people you know and trust, but that is not always possible for some people.

Recently a Priest I play with have been running a lot of Scarlet Monastery: Cathedral in hopes for the cloth hat. It was discussed within the group that the helm was to go to the healer, and the two-handed mace to the feral druid. But, once the cloth helm dropped, the feral druid needed on it.

I also know about masters looter, but that was not enabled at the time as we thought we were all in a understanding about the drops. The druid then claimed it is possible to solve this by opening a GM ticket to transfer this item to the healer.

Is that possible? Or is there anything else that can be done?

Warn people in your guild about them, people who ninja loot will fast find them on a “don’t invite list”.

Loot Trading in Classic *Updated*

Yeah, I’m not really hopeful. I thought it was just as you explained, just wanted to double check as some people claimed it has happened.

Sad that we have to run dungeons with Master looter.

The problem with Master Loot is, if you do that, and you run with pug, they will certainly start to quit the group before you enter in the dungeon. Because they expect “Master loot = Friends loot or Leader loots priority, and pug fuc***”.

I say that, because i saw lot of ninja looter in LBRS/UBRS who put Master Loot before “their” boss who drop “the” loot that they want. And frankly, it’s insanely bad to deal with that if you need the same item .

Dealing with ninja is probably the way to go. Use normal loot but don’t group with assh****. Make ignore list, use World Channel to call something if some pug start to abuse, and share Google Doc to avoid them.

The smaller the server the easier it is to deal with. Generally though, they don’t only do it one time and they end up with a reputation.

Make sure your guild and friends know, then just never play with them again.

That is exactly why I try not to run with Master looter, people get scared by it.

I add ninjalooters to my friendslist and then set a note to them, that way I can still see their messages and still know that they are ninjalooters.
