It’s probably the biggest change out of all of them and sets a horrible precedent. First it’s druid polearms, then paladins with staffs etc etc.

Chronoboon not disturb me much - only stupid buff-icon, UI changes, changes to spell anmations, pets, quests, character create screen, NPCs … all this disturb me way more I see and notice daily

Nochanges means literally 0 changes and that classic era = og vanilla experience right?.
In vanilla 2004 we didnt have chronoboons and wbuffs can be dispelled and removed after death

I say only is one of LESSER changes. I not like it - I not use it, so see only on others that stupi buff. Is for me minor change. UI Change, I see ALL time - is much worse!!!

NO, only means some changes bother more or less.
Purpose to make “Quality” of life changes is NOT Quality, is stupid. I not like, nor condone any changes.
I want back Vanilla as per 1.12 or best earlier patch, not modern “somechanges” BLizzard proved they not know how to or where to stop.

You missed the point.
I guess you’re right, classic players want to cut corners and steamroll content, buy gold, buy boosts, buy gear, and if all else fails you can just afk in AV for a few weeks and get Grand Marshall. And I’m not trying to be sarcastic, the community is an absolute joke and I’m in no way surprised that these trash changes are being welcomed with open arms.
To be perfectly clear, I’m strongly in the #nochanges camp, and that includes the chrono boon, sharding, pvp ranking changes, UI changes etc etc.

Double standarts. Chronoboon is ok, but alience wcb is not ok 
I think u missed the point that #nochanges = 0 changes at all.
Classic era was alredy changed many times since 2019 and never was close to og vanilla after blizz added chronoboons , changed
lotus respawn timers, changed r14 pvp system. List can go on. Thats my point but you keep ignoring it or missing

You try make anybody say they like Chronoboon and other change but not Rend for Allys. This so stupid as I repeat again and again I LIKE NO CHANGES I want all change revert, but MOST UI changes.
I also like no changes Thalissa.
No changes community brought Vanilla back.
No changes community kept Era alive and made it thrive.
If the no changes community, if the whole core leaves, then there is no Era. Can you imagine how unhinged they would be if left without any meaningful opposition?
I am actually happy so many Era players are coming out and showing outrage. We need to make them uncomfortable.
Of course, if this continues, then we will all be gone and you know next where that will be.

It’s so weird to me why they start changing ERA, while there is SoD. ERA was the closest thing to the old WoW still out there between all these other classic versions, and instead of leaving it as a relic that can be revisited (as it should be), they mess with it… they have so much room to do changes in SoD, why ERA?!
It’s like a Museum changing it’s old relics fundamentals because it doesn’t “fit” current times in their eyes… when it was all along supposed to be untouched eternally. Ah, blizz…it never ceases to amaze me how good they are at needlessly making problems that they then need to fix later (but most likely wont).

Why are you operating under the assumption that this is proportional or there has to be a middle ground? No change andies have lost, are currently losing and will lose in the future. There doesn’t need to be a middle ground. You just need to decide if you’ll accept it or move on.

what you are yapping about dude? You dont play ERA, you play SOD. Not sure what you wanna prove? That we dont wanna reverse changes back? You wanna say that you know better than us what we want?
What is this logic? If something can be changed it can also be reversed back. What you really talk about?
Its not about loosing or winning. Its about Blizzard stating that they will keep Era as much close to 2019 experience as much possible. Its about trust of players to multimilion company with incompetent devs.
I am moving on, with fact that we wanna move on with reversing changes back. If something can be done it can be also undone.

I’m sure blizzard reads these forums, in the EU of all places, and cares about the opinions of what is maybe 500 dedicated era andies across EU and NA combined.
That costs time. They made the change as part of their SOD development - ERA getting it was purely coincidental because they share a client with SOD.
Which players? Era’s playerbase is a rounding error at best.
Sure it can, if there was a reason for them to spend dev time doing it. But why would they?

Well, I’m still considering what I should do. But yes, for the first time in the last 5 years I truly started to think about suspending my 6 month subs.
And I won’t go anywhere else. I do not consider private servers an option. And I won’t go back to EVE Online. I’ve also no plans to go back to Diablo II. Later versions of Diablo or other games were never a serious option anyway.
For the first time in more than 25 years I actually might drop out of online gaming.
Blizzard is letting us down. In my view they are failing on their promise to keep Era alive, to keep the old world alive. Intact.
While you can argue about each change individually, there is a limit, when you sum these changes up. Obviously this limit is different for everyone. Mine is definitely reached.
Now I’m considering, whether or not Blizzard has passed this limit already. And I’m pondering what’s still to come.
In the past they at least announced stuff beforehand. Now they’re dropping sh.it on us that just happened and try to sell it as change afterwards. I can’t think of any way to be more disregarding towards your players. Bar insulting them openly of course.
Reactions in the past have actually shown, that they do read these forums. Whether they pass it on, is another thing. Still in this case, I would personally think so, even if only summarized.
That seems to be the sad reality of it.
