I tried to restore my Mirahs Song (Scholomance quest reward; BiS preraid OH) that I vendored or disenchanted by accident after getting Dal Rends months ago. I opened a ticket. This is the response I got:
Thank you for getting in touch regarding this item that you would have apprecated to get restored. My name is Game Master Kervediovis and I’ve been taking a look into this matter for you.
Firstly, I wanted to let you know that us Game Masters are doing our best to give satisfaction to our players requests every time it’s possible. However, there are also times when the equity among players, and the mechanics of the game, would prevent us to interfere in the regular journey of playing WoW.
And even though I reckon the game is getting more and more competitive these days, and for that matter I understand how useful this item would be, I’m afraid there is nothing I can do this time.
That’s said, I hope this explanation helps to clear things up about item restoration. And should you have any other question regarding your game, feel free to let us know and we’d come back to you shortly.
I dont understand anything about this response nor the reasoning behind it. Can anyone explain wtf he is talking about?
No, whats the reason for restoring item X but not item Y? There is 50 items in my restoration list but not this one, why? I can even see my Krol Blade i disenchanted in October.
Ive said this a few times but once my pet Boar disappeared for no good reason and after waiting 3 days they basically said “This is Classic, get over it. Why you even using a boar, idiot”
Edit: That’s not what they said but it’s how I remember it!
Well my guess is that if you had opened a request the moment you destroyed the item they may have given it back to you. As it stands you did this months ago and did not care enough back then to ask for it.
