Item restorations

Is it possible to restore items that are no longer on the item restoration tool? They are quest rewards and cant be acquired again.

Make a ticket in-game and ask. I know they have restored items destroyed by accident. Maybe they’ll be kind and restore something you regret getting rid of.

Blizzard do not restore stuff you cannot restore yourself.

They did in Vanilla. It can’t hurt to ask…

But yeah, can’t hurt to ask ^^

Yes, because item restoration tool did not exist back then.

The items im talking about are the Skull of Impending Doom, Luffa and Mark of Resolution. All from quests and useful for pvp

You can’t restore it, but don’t worry. The Skull of Impending Doom doesn’t work in Classic pvp (it’s doing a huge amount of damage to wearer and breaks CC very badly). Blizzard fixed this item exploit. So best thing you can do with it, sell to vendor.

I remember in TBC. They restored an entire deleted character to me. He was naked as i had sold off all the items and gold on him. They even after i asked (not restored, but) sent some new decent gear so I could play the game again. They asked what spec i was and sent an entire set of green items appropriate for the level and spec i was.

You can still use it with a cancel aura macro

How can it help if Skull breaks CC very poorly? I never saw in Classic someone used it in PVP (probably it can be used… for suicide)

Bump!
Have the same issue.
In BC times I remember GM restored me item that was destroyed months ago. And now GMs can’t restore Skull of Impending doom (such important and nonreplaceable item!) that was accidently vendored or destroyed like 1-2 weeks ago. And looks like much players have issue with destroying this damn Skull.
