How could anyone say the current classic experience is anywhere close to pservers in terms of quality? Or even in terms of fidelity to the original game
Current ‘Classic experience’ is that of a wrongly implicated pirate server and has nothing to do with Vanilla.
Blizzard should make up their minds already. Either make the transition complete by adding artificial balance regulation and let go of “Vanilla - as close as possible” delusion OR start making normal sized servers and clean up this mess.
So dont say its a clone of pservers. It isnt. Its a messed up imitation of one at best. And pop is one of many issues that classic wow has. Pservers never had artificial faction balance measures. They didnt have non vanilla like differences that encouraged inbalance on a server level like crossrealm bgs

By the same logic, this gnome char is a clone of your troll char, but a bad one (its shorter it his pink hair, its not as strong, doesnt have a cool red shirt, etc… but they are both chars so its still a clone)

the pourpose of this topic was simple. I dont care about private servers and never will, how the hell did you started this unrelated subject.

Really?! How come? Horde and Alliance leftovers are screwed there… they will not be able to open AQ gates, will not be able do BGs, nothing… How is the Real fine?

Over time, if nothing changes, Classic Vanilla (or this bad copy of it rather) will be run and played solely by ex-pirate server players or those that prefer EvE Online style gaming with a WoW skin.
People who were looking forward to the original version of Vanilla (or as close to that as possible) are screwed.
Like someone else mentioned in another thread: Maybe we can beg Blizzard to make a few True Vanilla servers with 2.5-3k populations.
