Keeping WOTLK Classic servers

If cata will come i will cancel my sub . Was played many years aggo in wrath just few month because they deploy cata patch and i quit game. Alot other will quit too like always, you can check when ppl was quiting game it was cata patch . So i hope they will make new serwers where we can transfer eventually your char 80 lvl to perma wotlk serwers or not deploy cata.

They could’ve just made expansions share level ranges, just as some zones do now and you don’t need (or can) do all of them. It would help with leveling alts, since you could have a completely different questing experience on each one.

I am also for WotLK era servers, i would love to have that no gear rush feeling like at classic era servers, I cant dedicate too much time for playing and I feel I am always catching up to new raid tier.

1 big merged WotLK server same as with vanilla I think is definitely on the table.

What about a seasonal concept of classic era? Launch long time period vanilla server with after year evolve into TBC and after year to WotLK era. At her another year stays one permanent WotLK server with option to merge into cata and whole circle starts again…

Obviously it’s a total no brainer.

My preference would be stand-alone permanent WotLK servers.

Failing that, and as a second-tier choice I’d cautiously accept a mechanic that made it possible to level from 1-60 on Classic era or HC servers and then be given the choice of a permanent, non-time limited transfer.

Or third tier (least appealing) option would be to use some kind of Chromie Time mechanic to choose between old world or revamped old world for 1-60 content.

you have your seasons as your classic + - go play those.

wolk classic should stay as somethign completly separate.

I thought the whole idea of classic was to play in the old world that is the only reason I’ve subbed again. If there’s no wotlk servers my sub will be cancelled

Well warmane are launching a new realm in 2 weeks which will go through the first 3 and stay at wrath. Plus the already existing wrath. I see people are already heading back I think Bliz may have underestimated the losses here but I don’t know what their servers cost to run. It’ll all depend whether the cost is greater than the lost subs.

Nothing’s been said about permanent Wrath-era servers, the chances of it happening are looking increasingly remote.

So be it. Frankly I’m having such a good time with Starfield that I can hardly bring myself to care and I’ve already got set up on a private server running WotLK 3.3.5 so as far as I’m concerned Blizzard can bog off. Time to get that sub cancelled.
