That depends on their definition of “people” and “listen”.
As much as I can understand some people wanting Cataclysm, it’s a given Blizzard will loose a big part of the Classic Community if they don’t give the option to stay on WotLK content…

I wouldnt mind having a freeze. But i also want to play Cata
I want to keep playing on a Wrath dedicated server also. For me Wotlk was the peak of wow goodness which slowly went downhill from there.
Also I had an idea about the world of warcraft slowly growing and evolving, faction wars, new shops open and closing, like the world slowly changing without the release of entire new expansions with level caps etc… prob bad idea but meh

I’ll just move back to private servers, only reason I decided to give blizz a try was because of wrath coming back.

For me, the whole point of WoW Classic is to play the game as it was, before Cataclysm came along and changed the ‘old world’. I already play Retail for new and exciting things, for me Classic is about the nostalgia of reliving what was but has now gone in Retail.
So in short, I have precisely zero interest in ‘classic’ Cataclysm. I’ll gladly transfer my Classic characters to a Wrath server if one is created, otherwise I’ll just stick with Retail.

Blizzard, the moment you release Cataclysm and force me to play it (might as well play Retail) is the moment I unsub. KEEP. WRATH. ERA. SERVERS. Launch 1-2 fresh ones.

I same point here, won’t play in a classic game, only for woltk, it’s fine to add some new features like what they are adding without hurting the gameplay but not to go further with “classic”. What does " classic " mean if it will go next and next, right?

That’s the only way to preserve the wotlk servers after the Cataclysm transition (a word you should be familiar with btw judging by your post haha

I’m not the one under delusion. Theres no point in wrath classic as it would be dead anyway. Same thing happened to vanilla classic after tbc, same thing happened to private servers. What makes you think it would be different now especially when wrath turned out to be trash?
What kind of alternate reality do you live in where this statement is even 10% true, you brainless ape?
I hated Cata , such a huge dissapointment.
If Blizzard won´t keep a wotlk server I´ll play on a private server.

I quite agree. They could add cata/pandaria dungeons and raids but scaled down. That would be a nice compromise for those that hated the world changes that came with cata (and the class changes) but liked the dungeons and raids.
Totally agree, although at the moment I can’t find a decent looking private server. But if we are forced onto cata with no option to stay in LK, I’ll be gone, my sub won’t be renewed and I’ll just play ESO instead (Far better game anyway just lacking in the social side). If I recall correctly there was a huge drop in subscribers when LK changed to cata.
I’ve been playing WOW since 2004, and it was utterly ruined with Cata by breaking the original environments.
Yes, I continued with the expansions but I’m sick of Retail.
Relaunching Classic was a dream come true. And most of us are playing to enjoy the experience of an un-broken world.
If they overwrite WOTLK I am gone once and for all and I’m sure a lot of other players will be too.

Why would you guys do when you finish ICC and take whatever gear you wanted ? I always wondered why people play classic in private servers what’s the point after you have done everything.
I’m not judging , I genuinely wanna know what’s the catch

Reroll and do it again, I guess? In Classic you might not really have the time to fully enjoy/gear multiple classes due to accelerated patch cadence.

Make new characters? Exoplore new places? World PvP? RP?
Besides it’s not really just about the current players. I would like NEW players who want to try Classic to have an option to experience Wrath even if they didn’t start within the timeframe Blizzard allowed the servers to exist.
