lost your holiday ?
lost your time ?
moral damages cuz of kick after waiting in 6h queues…
no response…
and you all paid for this
No win no fees?
This is the biggest problem for most people as a lot of us took few days off from work in order to play. I can’t even begin to grasp how big queues are going to be over weekend.
Good luck with your lawsuit. Yes the people that work at blizz worked really hard to give us players a game we have been asking for , for years. Its a really good game and everyone wants to play it. But sometimes we have to wait a bit. Now give us money?!! Good luck telling that to a judge u Dumb (&*))(%
Well, seriously - you should have known better… every xpac launch during the last 15 years was a mess in the first few days. I was online at the moment Classic launched, it was literally unplayable and I expected it to be - it was just fun to be part of it.
Vanilla was way worse. I joined 6 months after EU launch and the servers were still crashing and lagging, sometimes days at a time. We got plenty of days reimbursed back in the day because we couldn’t play all day.
As much as I agree with you, read Terms of service
Limitations of Liability. Blizzard, its parent, subsidiaries, Licensors and affiliates shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of your use of, or inability to access or use, the Platform or Account(s)
No.
I pay for retail, which work 100%.
Classic is a huge bonus which i enjoy more and tbh im avoinding the Q servers and get to play more…
Blizzard advertise
“Access to WoW Classic is included in and available to all players with an active World of Warcraft subscription—no additional purchase required.”
That means that you play classic for free, you actually bought retail with sub… so you cant demand money because retail is just fine, playable and healthy…
Also you never take day off in mmo launches… its suicide. At least in this launch you can play if you wait, in other games you couldn’t play no matter what…
Lawsuit LOL
It’s your own fault you took time off on launch day. The signs and warnings were there that it’d be a complete fiesta.
Got no one to blame but yourself for losing holiday time.
dusting off an old game is not working hard. just working will suffice
They did not dust it off, they recreated it. The world changed over the years
Before you contact a lawyer, try reading the Terms of Service that you agree to when playing WoW.
It may just save you from being laughed at… by the lawyer, at least. You already posted here, after all
You dont buy retail with sub, you only rent the game. The game is not for you, neither is your character. You just rent it out.
ok they dust it off and tweaked it
That might not be a worthy lawsuit, but blizzard is kinda of not respecting customer’s rights by not giving them the chance to make use of what they bought.
I’ve been to concert and paid for it, only to listen support band. Dont care for retail at all … was lured to pay earlier cuz of name reservation and was promised that if i make character on low realm, I wont get a 6h queue … And no1 told me that I’m gonna be kicked from the game(after 10 min) to let others log in … com on
yea but it is not inline with european law, so its good to fend average joe off, but a big lawsuit would have a chance. Gaming industry is known for semi legal practises to get kids to spend more money (loot boxes etc)… for instance with server transfers etc
algorithems to pair people up with epic vanity items making sales go up etc… its just noone will bother to take this so far
That is exactly how it is and was. I thought exactly 5 minutes about taking vacation, then remembered Classic and all those AddOns I played on release day (last one was Cataclysm) and than thought better about it. I never ever experienced a Blizzard launch (same happened with Diablo 3) where the game was playable on release day or a few days afterwards.
Expansions were NEVER Like this.
People didn’t have to wait 10 hours to play the game let alone get disconnected from the game and without a grace period to get back into it.
This is nothing like he first launch.
at least with Wotlk, Cata, Mists, Legion and even BFA. I COULD LOG IN TO THE F****G GAME.
Classic release it took us 10 hours to be able to create an account and only after that you could try to log in. That was the next queue. And when you were finally able to log in, the starting areas were completely overrun. The problem with the queues lasted for weeks and that was on RP-PvE at that time.
And up to Cata there were queues and sever downs. I am sure about this because I always tried to play at release.
