I really don’t undestand why people would’ve took time off for classic launch, you know what expansion launches are like and with how little servers we had you should’ve known the queues where going to be insane…
Not their problem players took a holiday for this.
I have took some time off, and have been able to play and its been fine. Had a great time, yes i have had to wait a bit in the evening. But its launch, this is to be expected. caveat emptor
nicely joked
queues have literally nothing do to with where people in the game are
You know, Blizzard kept on warning people that if they didn’t move to different realms there wouldn’t be just queue’s but SIGNIFICANT queue’s. That should have told you something.
But no you stuck to your guns claiming that if you didn’t go to the highest populated realm it would become a dead server.
After a few hours on the first day more realms opened up. On the 2nd day they opened the queue’s even further resulting in virtually no log in queue for the newer realms.
You can play, you just opt to stand in line.
Here are the facts:
- You don’t pay for classic. You very clearly pay a sub for BFA, and get Classic for free. It is impossible to pay a subscription for classic specifically, regardless of your personal reasons for subbing.
- It is possible to get in and play without enduring enormous queues, by simply changing server. Regardless of whether you’d be leaving a guild or friends behind or whatever, this is an option which would allow you to play and so the service being offered is in fact available.
- Blizz have been adding servers and raising server caps since release, so it is clear that they are doing work to mitigate the problem.
Those 3 things are indisputable fact. Good luck trying to claim any sort of ‘damages’, especially considering the ToS includes a disclaimer against any such losses, and you would have had to have agreed to those ToS to even enter a queue.
Would it be nice if Blizz made some sort of ‘good faith’ offer, like game time or maybe an in game reward? Certainly. But if they don’t, there’s nothing that anyone can do about it. They’ve broken no contract, violated no trading laws (at least in the UK), so whether it feels fair or not doesn’t really come into it.
Bunch of crybabies. Jesus…
I mean my rebuttal to that would be, so you have time to sit in the queue then.
Is this a joke? dont blame blizzard that you were stupid enough to waste your time. It was well known that this was going to happen (not in this scale but still known) and yet youre wasting your time
