Not sure what server you play on but where im from i see almost every hunter, Alliance and horde with that “glowing diiiildo” on there backs…so i think its a question of you dont have the skill.
I assume you have watched YouTubefor some hints and tips?
There does seem to be a change . The ungoro one I tried today and her pet will not reset to starting point after trap but joins in the chase. So you have 2 to kite.
In all the video’s it resets.
How can another hunter kill it for you . I thought if anyone other than you attacks it despawns?
This quest is a skill test about how good you are at playing your class.
If you think it needs a nerf, maybe hunter isn’t the right class for you.
And don’t complain about the 15 minutes respawn… back in 2004/2005, it was several hours !
Look at guides. Use consumables, like e.g. restorative potion for the WS one. Get help from your guildies, to clear the trash, for the warlock buff in silithus.
I’m going to join the other hunters and say: get good. If I managed to do it, you can too. Grow some balls, don’t be a retail baby wanting everything handed to him, and you’ll get the BIS bow that will last through at least two raid instances.

At first I wanted to play a warrior tank in Classic, but the memory of that quest and the sense of accomplishment you get once you complete it made me finally roll a hunter first again 
Apart from Silithus one I had no issues but even though I was well geared by that point(I think I did MC for 10 weeks before getting rhok) I still took my time to prepare fully. Only thing I didn’t use was ony buff and rend buff:p(edit: and that’s because those arent easy to get when you want)
The ones that I think aren’t 1 shottable out the gate just take some practice and timing.
So you asking for easy mode instant gratification and people disagreeing = harassment ?

Dunno I one shotted all of them except the Silithus one. Once I had a warlock the Silithus one was easy. Maybe you just aren’t very good at the class?

If demon is reset another hunter can try to kill it. If that hunter is in your group the loot is shared. That way another hunter can kill demon for you.
The only thing that you must NOT do is to help in any way, or even have an aura active. If the other hunter gets any help from you including entering your aura, the demon will reset.
Just group, stand far away with no skill active, and enjoy the show.
But I’d advice to do it yourself. It’s so much more satisfying.

Yeah that was changed, it wont split like that now, just trap simone deal with the fel demon, then deal with simone, she hasn’t got alot to deal with really stay out the cast range and shes pretty easy mode.
i also did most of my really late at night or early in the morning when the zones were alot quieter.
When i faught her i killed the felguard and ran out of range by mistake and she reset but the fel demon didnt respawn so yeah.
But like said it is meant to be hard, i had to learn a lot of stuff i didnt bother learning when leveling, it stepped my hunter game up quite a bit since all those skills now help me in other aspects of of the game.
Stick at it, when you finally have the bow you’ll realise it was all worth while… some demons took me a good 10 or so attempts to get down because i had to learn everything i didnt learn beast master turret moding
Literally 2 of these demons can be killed without any preparation, just by kiting.
I had to use gspp for the Silithus one and a resto pot for the WS one, thats about it. If even I can do it, everyone can.
This thread was only made because of the OPs refusal to put any effort into it.
But I thought that anyone who helps the hunter with this quest will make the demon disappear. How can a group help you?
The group doesn’t help you. There must still be only ONE HUNTER to fight the demon, if you have two entities on his threat table it’s over. But that hunter fighting it can be someone else in your group.
Guys, any of u know. I just killed Simone, only to be killed after that by her hound. I could not loot her. I opened a ticket but it takes 6 days it says. Should i wait for the GM to come back to me, or go ahead and do it another time. I struggled quite some time to get it right.
Redo it… if you freeze the Add sometimes he despawns but if he doesn’t if you start kiting her in a straight line she will be at about 5% Hp before he catches up again, then it’s just a scatter shot into it. Loot her. FD… win. If your having difficulties just ask a guild mate to mount up. Run ahead of you and agro any mobs in your kiting path. If they run zig zag in front of you no annoying stuns/dazed and you don’t have to do anything but strafe diagonally. If you try the stand and fight / kite around the lake strat I wish you luck.

I have done the quest in numerous PS and it is really hard and, like you yourself found out, impossible if you don’t have:
- The right build.
- The right consumables.
- The right gear.
- The right trinkets.
- Demonslayer sword with Demonslaying enchant.
Οfc, the trolls here will tell you that OMG THEY DID IT AT LEVEL 56 WHILE THEY WERE HALF AFK WATCHING NETFLIX AND DOIN’ THEIR FINGERNAILS TOO, NO CONSUMABLES, NO BUFFS, NO ASSISTANCE.
Just disregard the trolls and look for you tube guides from Private Servers that detail how to do the quest.

Deterrence, Counterattack and imp Melee Crits help with Un Goro and Burning Steppes Demon, Imp Traps and Entrapment helps with Silithus Demon and the Extended Range talent makes the Winterspring Demon doable.
Note that Winterspring Demon is NOT DOABLE without EXTENDED RANGE TALENT POINTS.
Ofc, the trolls here will tell you that they beat all demons WITH NO TALENT POINTS AT ALL, ZERO TALENT POINTS IN ALL TREES BECAUSE THEY R SO LEEEEEEEETTTTT.

Many thanks for that build link. My classic hunter isn’t at that stage yet but it’s something I’ve been thinking about as I never did the quest in vanilla and decided to have a go with a more BM type spec this time round. Which clearly doesn’t help with this quest even though I do have the extended range points.
