Least Favourite Dungeon

Probably the Slave Pens or the Underbog

It’s huge

It’s empty

It’s boring

Only my opinion ofc

The worst ever is probably lower blackrock spire to me.

From the current m+ rotation both VP and Uldaman are really unenjoyable.

:100:

Dire maul comes to mind

The Oculus.

I hate ‘vehicle based gameplay’ in WoW.

violet hold, or any of the dungeons on a timer which can’t be skipped.

For me the winner it’s going to be Neltharus. I hate to gather 1/4 of a dungeon on 22 fortified as tank, for an optimal dungeon clear. If I fail the key it’s bricked and everyone will pretty much hate me.

Otherwise all dungeons are fine by me

Edit: to gather for Chains, I forgot to specify before. And I also don’t hate big pulls in general. But there’s something about gathering those mobs in that dungeon, that I really - really hate (and being required / expected to do so).

Seat of the triumverate, hands down. Purple on purple on purple, some of which you need to avoid, some you need to stand in.

Awful, awful place.

Special mention I suppose to places like everbloom (people headbutting a wall for 23 minutes screaming “short cuuuuut!!” as they fail to make the jump).
Auchindoun, awful rp, too much porting around and dranei.
Tol’dagor, too buggy.
The well of eternity / end time / etc dungeons that were the late one in cata.
Not a fan of ruby barf pools or Nok’hud either.

All of them after wrath

After all these years it’s still Auchindoun Crypts for me. Close second is Black morass.

From classic to wrath - uldaman, sunken temple, black morass, culling of stratholme, oculus.

From BFA (my beginnings on retail) to DF - nothing memorable. Everything is ZUG ZUG fiesta, pulls of 20 mobs combined with spell effects make everything just a pile of indistinct polygons. Its all the same so i guess i’ll say i equaly dislike all of them.

Actually while i wrote i remembered one particulary bad dungeon from retail. The night fae one with guessing game portals that throws you to the start when some noob in your party runs to random path. Atis tirma or smth. The one who made that dung can go to hell.

I hate Blood Furnace as a tank. Constantly getting stunned is not fun

and Shattered Halls. Too often CC on tank makes it not fun to play as a tank. Besides gathering lots of mobs to AoE them down is huge part of what makes this game fun.

That was one of the best ones in sl

Temple of Sethraliss
Theater of Pain
Vortex Pinnacle

I strongly dislike anything where I have to control something else in order to take part.

I also dislike any of the dungeons with ‘waves’ of mobs.

Wailing Caverns was always a chore. The same mobs, the same bosses and a layout that was easy to get lost in.

Blizz removed half of it and added dungeon maps and it was still too long and confusing.

It’s not even Vanilla dungeon design because the likes of Deadmines, Zul’farrak and Blackrock Depths are long and iconic.

Any of the ones from BFA and Shadowlands, take your pick, I hate them all.

How do you not love waycrest manor? Its possibly the best dungeon ever :frowning:

the only expansion still enjoyed keys :face_holding_back_tears:

where gazillion skips and carefully executed choreographs like synchronized olympic swimmers still made or break the key

till in shadowlands turn it into this gather a big pile and apply aoe on it while transfering threat and tank runs in circles around the pile. when bfa the king’s rest raiders of the lost ark vibes and the difficulty of shrine of the storm or the casual fun of freehold sir how dare you not like it :joy:
