Odd isnt it.
Defias brotherhood was ok, until 99% of player vanished overnight
Thereâs no reason to stop legacy server.
Itâs high money reward for little invest.
Thereâs a demand. Some people donât want to play on the latest expansion but prefer older content.
They can release TBC, then WOTLK, then Cata, then MOP, and further. All of them will have success. Even if they release BFA Classic in 10 years, people will be happy.
This. This is exactly what Argent Dawn was like on retail when I played there.
I donât RP myself, but it really was a wonderful sight. There was some Stormwind Bank drama once because somebody had used the RP-Addon to write their story, and it included their panty sniffing fetish.
âŚIf WoW characters can have multiple genders and sexualities, they can have fetishes too!
Just add to the ignore list, or lean on your guild, if the tank or healer is from your guild then the dungeon group will pay more attention
Haha oh wow, my post about RP-PvP servers got flagged and deleted. Sure is a lot of tender fee-fees around these parts. Disgraceful.
If thereâs demand for it, I donât have a problem with all 3 legacy game servers: Classic, TBC and Wrath.
Iâm planning to stay in TBC forever, but it doesnât bother me that other people who arenât me might prefer the other expansions.
I would like a MoP classic.
Honestly I think the end of wow is having the game with all servers available to play at your discretion, so people can choose whatever xpac to play at any given time for just the normal sub cost to play whatever knowing that there are no new xpacs coming.
I certainly wouldnât say no to MoP Classic.
Super fun PvP.
Fel-fire quest.
Challenge dungeons.
The best iteration of Arms ever.
Tons of weird an unique skills that made all classes feel unique.
Isle of Thunder.
ToT.
Monks in their best state.
Halfhill Farm
No offense but get outta here with that self-righteous bs.
How the hell does it negatively impact you that other people get to replay expansions they want?
Provided Blizzard doesnât make an idiotic decision to overwrite expansions and the option remains to keep playing whichever you want, there is absolutely nothing to lose by opening up not just Wotlk, but every single one.
Class balance in Classic is unique and atrocious, itâs literally the worst of every iteration of this game by a long shot. There is a huge line between a class being useless and every class feeling the same, and it wasnât until BFA that homogenization started to become problematic.
I donât know why but whenever I see âHereâs Whyâ I always think of something like, âCumquats are the best for Omega 3 - Hereâs whyâ, then the article is full of half truths and downright lies.
It was still good on patch 3.1, it was patch 3.2 that started breaking things.
Though I still want to play up to and including Cataclysm.
WotLK had its flaws, but making poor performing spec like feral viable wasnât one of them lol. For the most part DK class and que dungeon is what give WotLK bad view.
But it was from the beggining and still remain most anticipated version of the game, if they do TBC(which they will), odds theyâre doing WotLK are 99.99%, the reason is simple, to fill existing niche that made private servers so popular.
all raids one shotted in one day, great expansion
WOTLK is the only server pirate devs could get right.
Thatâs why is WOTLK so popular.
that name though!
I read up until this point. Do you have any idea what youâre even talking about?
There is more than raiding in WoW. I liked the WIntergrasp concept. I liked a lot of the heroics, I liked the way new 5 mans were added with catch up loot. I didnât like ToC although the knight stuff wasnât too bad. For me it was the most alt-friendly expansion I played as well. I like the environment itself better than outland too, snowy peaks yay
That and the fact WOTLK had the biggest playerbase.
So we shouldnât have Wrath because you donât like it?
Lol, no.
Itâs one of the best expansions Blizzard ever made, with Classic making as much money as it has for them, and TBC which will likely make even more, why would they not bring Wrath back? Heck I bet they bring Cata and MoP back if the money is there.
Theyâre a company. Blizzard isnât thinking "oh we shouldnât bring this expansion back because of LFG or âhomogenisationâ as you put it (which is laughable since Wrath had some of the most fun and in depth specs to date). Instead theyâre looking for the next thing to bring money in, Classic is their cash cow right now and itâll keep going for as long as it makes a decent profit.
Classic TBC and WotLK servers should be made and kept so people can play any of them if they like it it will kill most private serves as they are the most played expansions in them. I like all of them and would play all of them .WotLK has the most balanced pvp meta imo and is my favorite beside classic. TBC is awesome too for the hybrid specs and really is classic on steroids how u called it but farming rep in TBC kinda suxx for alts later in the expansion where in WotLK u got tabards for rep and some meme specs are still viable throughout the progression of the expansion . I canât wait for TBC but i surely hope we will get WotLK its the peak of the game imo and statistics show its kinda downhill from there on
