This level of entitlement is quite astonishing. You want to play a more popular faction and not suffer any drawbacks that come along with it, so you’re asking Blizzard to change the game for your convenience.
How about no? You either dominate the open world or have short queues, you can’t have both.
Still not asking for short queues, as i very clearly posted there just few minutes ago. You could atleast make an effort to read the entire thread first before slandering me from entitlement?
I didn’t say you were asking for short queues, but you want being able to premade which is possible through short queues right now, which is the only advantage of being an outnumbered faction.
#no changes!
They should not have changed how queue worked for WSG in first place and let it be like that.
Isnt this what you all wanted and cheering for ?
Either factions aren’t outnumbered in av, it’s 40vs40
Ok, so you’re just trolling. Got it.
The premade is an exploit, it was never intended to work that way because why would they leave out join as grp?. If allies can semi-premade then horde should also be able to. Doesnt matter the queues will still be long.
Either they fix the exploit or they give horde to join as grp
Nah, I just pointed flaw in your reasoning.
It isn’t because it falls under “legitimate PvP tactics”, such issues can be solved through PvP therefore there is no need for them to step in since it can be easily solved by the players.
If you do not wish to engage in regular PvP combat in Classic, select a Player versus Environment (PvE) realm. PvE realms offer a limited and structured environment for PvP encounters. Players on PvE realms can actively choose when they wish to engage in PvP combat by enabling or disabling their PvP flag at will.
The following actions may be considered dishonorable but are considered legitimate PvP tactics and will not be addressed by our Game Master staff:
- Corpse camping.
- Tricking players into getting flagged for PvP (i.e. jumping in the middle of another player’s area effect spell).
- Killing players well below your level.
One is against the ToS, the other isn’t, it’s about as cut and dry as you can get.
However the premade situation is an exploit that cannot be feasibly solved by the players, as I have made clear in my previous posts my issue with the premade situation lies in the fact that one side can obtain a clear advantage over the other by gaming the system.
The solution? Either add a ‘Join as group’ button to the battlemaster so everyone can do it without exploiting the queue system or start cracking down on the players who do it.
That’s it, no more exploiting, everyone gets an equal footing, problem solved.
Because you’re not supposed to be able to queue as a group. Doesn’t mean you’re not supposed to get into the same battleground with people you’re communicating with. You are calling it exploit because you don’t like it. You’re saying it wasn’t intended to work that way, which way is that? It works like a normal queue with all that comes with it, simple as that.
That’s not a flaw in my reasoning, that’s you having a hard time understanding what’s being explained to you, so let me try again.
Horde is more populous than alliance.
Because of that:
- Horde dominates the open world on most realms.
- Horde has longer queues and therefore a harder time joining a BG with friends.
All in all, both factions have its pros and cons as of now.
But now you wanna “fix” the 2 without fixing the 1, and in your mind it’d somehow make it more fair. It wouldn’t.
An exploit is the use of mechanics in such a way it wasnt intended to be used. Doesnt matter if it is to their advantage or not.
I mean it is clear as day that leaving out the option to join as grp was a way for blizzard to prevent premades. The intention behind leaving it out was to prevent premades and we are seeing that it is not working so they might aswell reintroduce it. I dont understand why you keep denying it being an exploit, if anything a join as grp would make your life as an ally a lot more convenient, it removes all the hasse of organizing cross realm discords etc.
The AV BG design is to not have premades. That is why they removed the “join as group” option. If the design was to have premades, they would have put that option in just as they did in WSG, where they allow premades by design. Now that part is not rocket science, right?
Having no queues though allows you to coordinate your entering the BG as a premade, using addons or a 3rd party program like Discord, to circumvent this, even cross realm. How exactly is this not cheating the system?
You can also form your own premade or beat them with a pug, which is a pvp “solution”. Please also show me where queueing at the same time is against tos.
What’s up with all these Calimero-type threads lately?
It isn’t - never has been
But the usual suspects will use the usual none sense to argue anyway
I think it makes them happy
Blizz have done nothing to assuage their teenage angst for 15 years - so nothing will change

There is also no dungeon finder, must be exploit to form groups for mc.
3rd party program like Discord
LOL, ban discord. We have no queues because all the edgy kids went for muh racials. You choose second most broken racial in the history of wow over fast queues, deal with your choice.
This gets a bit boring really. You know as a fact it is not possible for the horde. Don’t act like it is. It’s not even that it would take us longer to get it right, it will just fail, every single time. Where alliance it takes what, a minute?
If you wanna call something an exploit on this basis alone, you can go a long, long way.
Were DM buffs intended to be used in raids? Was Drakkisath intended to be kiteable to make the fight easier? Was the AV backdoor intended to be used for easier access to the boss?
Tons of things aren’t used as intended, this is the lamest argument possible.
Fact of the matter is, the only reason its harder for horde to premade is longer queues which are direct consequence of their population, so there’s nothing to fix here. You can’t have a cake and eat it too.
It is as possible as beating horde in open world pvp when you are outnumbered 3 to 1. Possible? Yes, Probable? No. Feasible? Hell no. You have queues because it was your decision to have them.
No i just want to fix on my own problem (lets call it problem number 3). You just want to bring your own issues to the table, which are irrelevant to my problem.
-
You hate the fact that horde dominates in world pvp? Welp, ye can see I would get salty from too. Irrelavent on this topic though.
-
Horde is having longer queues in bg because the faction ratio? Yeh, I totally get that, even 100% okay with that.
None of those aren’t relavent though for my point, which is that alliance is exploiting the system, giving em an edge in av. And for me there is a easy fix just for letting both factions make their premades for av.
