Quite frankly. Myth rewards should have been available from open world content as well. Just at a slightly slower pace.

That said, sometimes I actually wish everyone would just get their absolute BiS equip just for logging in… teh people that just want to be “finished” would instantly unsub until the next patch, and the rest of us could work on numbers that actually mean something, because then nobody can hide behing not having item x or iLvl Y as their excuse for poor performance… like melees did for the last 2 seasons “I can´t clear +5s because I don´t have the legy and my class is balanced around it”.

I think the deserter debuff needs to be removed and instead all loot you would have obtained from bosses would only drop from last boss and it would be personal loot so you can’t kick others to get more loot for yourself. This would make it certain that players actually complete the dungeon to get loot and it gives the ability to leave after first boss if you don’t like the group you are in because you can also risk at playing with toxic, bad and afk players. Best of both worlds being able to choose if you want to do the dungeon with the group you just joined.

Maybe I ve luck but I didnt notice any trouble in my groups but recently leavers who quite the group after a specific boss (for a specific loot)

Same in M+, its very rare I play with drama, problems, bad player etc.

Leavers must be punished, by an 1 hour debuff.

They come for a loot, using others player in the groupe for their selfish purpose and just leave.

Its selfish and it doesnt have place in a group gameplay.

Showing a modicum of respect for others isn’t your strong point is it?

… Where do you get that idea from? Blizzard constantly adjusts the quality of our rewards so they could easily limit the ilvl before some stuff is released.

Though the question should be more about how the means of rewards would be to not make a situation where the hardcore players have to also farm for that piece. Maybe an option in the vault that only works every 2nd week, forgoing 2 pieces of loot a month.

I get that from you specifically asking for mythic gear 3 weeks before any content at an even remotely mythic level is accessible.

If you want mythic gear, you have to actually run mythic content, it´s as simple as that… There is currently no available mythic content. Just like you can´t win the World Cup in football by playing oin your backyard or on a highschool team.

If myth gear were available from the current content, whatever it´s source is would be farned ad absurdum and if possible exploited until the cows come home by every heroic and mythic raider as well as high end Key pusher on the planet, as well as every casual that wans teh best gear he can get, and the tuning of the raids and M+ would have to be significantly ramped up to compensate for everyone being stupidly overgeared before the season even starts…

As a direct result, the vast majority of players that cannot /do not clear HC raids or M+2s would not even be able to clear M0 or an NHC raid, while those of us that could already roflstomp that content before will see zero difference because we’re already used to actually having to play reasonably well and invest effort into getting our rewards.

And those poor souls that didn´t have 2 weeks to farm before the season started would be relegated to getting myth gear from world content for the duration of the season because they will never be able to catch up, because we´re still going to be farming that source for as long as teh gear remains relevant, which in the case of mythic gear is by definition the entire season and the entire NHC /M0 tier of the next season.

Hell, why even raid or run m+ at all if you can get the same rewards for killing 10-15-20-200 facerollable mobs in open world content? :wink:

Because it’s generally faster? Least for m+ dungeons. Raid drop-rates are probably still abusively low.

Oh, I´m sorry, please excuse me for assuming that you were speaking of the game in it´s current state like everyone else. :rofl:

It changes nothing about my opinion, however. There is absolutely zero need for anyone that does not run Champoin level content to have champion gear, heroic level content for heroic gear, and mythic level content for mythic level gear.

Because If you can´t already faceroll world content @ itemlevel 584, which almost anyone that wants to and has time and dedication has already surpassed and is equal to veteran /lfr /m0 level, then getting 628 is not going to save you, either, but merely prolong your inevitable failure and increase your repair costs.

I wish that leaving a dungeon or m+ should give a permanent “bad reputation” aura, witch makes a longer deserter buff the more you do it.
You should be able to not get the aura with a give up vote where the group majority decides the fate.

Blizzard should troll them and add a hidden debuff that if you leave a dungeon early you cant get loot from the next boss you kill and never mention doing it.

And it stacks. so if you leave multiple runs in a row, the buff gets higher an higher.

Or, even better, for every stack of the debuff, that´s one instance they get prioritized for refilling a group that another loothole left hanging, even if they queue for a specific instance the system will wait as long as it needs to until it finds a group with an incomplete id to finish. These people aren´t in it for the community, nor do they care about the other players, as their actions have proven, so there’s no reason whatsoever to treat them with the same level of respect shown to a player that simply queues and just runs the dungeon like a normal person regardless of whether his loot drops or not. And if he leaves that instance because “his” boss is already dead, then that´s another stack right there becasue they only stack down on completion.

And one day, when they all realize that they´re not getting full instance runs anymore but only ever as a refill after the second boss, for literally weeks or even months on end, they might start to wake up and reconsider whether they want to continue to be a Richard or not. And if not then they´ll just leave this "toxic "game in frustration and directly improve the overall quality of the community … its´s a win for WoW either way :wink:

I may be missing something here, but this feels like an extremely shortsighted “fix” for a non-issue that will go away soon, while also punishing the many for the crimes of the few.

Many situations may make you drop a group: a child requiring attention, or just nature’s call, so you drop group instead of just going afk and getting vote-kicked.

It is great you’re reacting to feedback, but I see many overreactions at the moment…

What about those occasionally random disconnects? Where you try to relog as fast as possible but the group already kicked you within 20sec.

30 min deserter even if you killed 3 out of 4 bosses. Being votekicked should not give deserter

What about them? It’s a better system, not a perfect one. If you dc and get kicked the world doesnt end.

What if… you become empowered along with luck of the draw buff that the players that remains can potentially finish without a tank… or implement an AI tank or dps/healer that acts as a cover until a new player re enters or end the run?

its ok and fair . we will still galdly take deserters over carrying people in dungeon which offers litreraly 0 reward when bosses you need are dead.

plenty other things to do when deserter timer is ticking :slight_smile: renown farm is worth much much more then those 10-20 stones (laughable amount )

maybe rethink rewards for completuion of dungeons - like much more currency and crests for finshing it rather then punishing people because dungeons are usless once boss they need is dead.

its ok. most people will gladly take that buff and still leave. ton of other things to farm rather then carrying people on bosses you dont need.

and once m+ opens - hc dungoens will be dead anyway :slight_smile:

also i find it hillarious that they hotfix it now when most of raiders are long done with hc dungeons on mains having farmed bis
