Lore and night elf palladin

I am disagree

Unacceptable :lemon:

I challenge you to a duel

Sorry, I’m a pacifist.

Shifting the focus back to the topic though; I think we’re already way past the point of there being any excuse for all races not having all classes (except maybe druid).

Legion introduced a whopping amount of three paladin or paladin-esque Night Elves, which funnily enough gives us more grounds to back that race/class combo up than what we have regarding for example Zandalari monks - and don’t get me started on how incredibly daft the reasoning for Worgen and Goblins not being able to be monks is at this point in time.

Druid for all races makes sense to me; people have seen the worth of the Cenarion Circle countless times, Malfurion is a legendary hero, and there’s been time for the others races to learn. Orcs–for example–could have a really cool, Lo’gosh themed thing going on.

I’m willing to support this as long as Gnome druid forms are just animal mech suits.

Mechagnomes, maybe. Regular gnomes would still have regular animal forms in my canon…

Forsaken druid when.

Regular gnomes in animal forms would probably fit very well in a cannon.

New Dwarven Mortar Team unit when?

Jokes aside, I approach class changes with caution: while I think some classes can work for all races (ie. warrior, mage, hunter, rogue, death knight, monk, warlock, priest) others that have a very unique lore should be restricted (demon hunter, druid, shaman, paladin).

This would unironically be really cool if it took on a “decay is a vital process in nature” approach.

I am conflicted. In a way, if Blizzard dedicated themselves to create different models and have, say, some fallen Wild God teach a decay variant of druidism to the Forsaken, I could see it work.

However this approach has usually failed in the past, as Blizzard prefers to remove nuance from classes rather than add it.
So unless they can handle “all classes to all races” my answer is: no, thanks!

Let’s corrupt Aessina. She’s vague enough and could use some time in the spotlight.

That might work nicely. As far as I recall, she’s basically a big wisp or something. The Darkshore campaign would have been a perfect opportunity to do so, but even an otherworldly Wild God in Maldraxxus could work - it’s not like the forsaken shy away from asking their aid anyway.

And, while I am still waiting for a nightborne druid, I’d rather most races to be unable to have some classes, unless done properly.

We don’t talk about that.

Agreed, certain classes just shouldnt be for every race tbh, not everyone needs a Paladin/Shaman/Druid/DH, went from being unique “hero” classes to just another rando military unit that every single race now employs, would rather certain classes have a race specific spec, like Dwarven warriors could get Mountain King spec, or Troll priests/shammys could get a Hexxar/Witch Doctor spec/Nelve rogue-warrior get Warden or w/e, f knows

Nah, I’m of the thought of; just give everybody everything.

If they add glyphs or make baseline spell differences where appropriate, I’d be all for it.
I hate everything looking the same.

I think the boat has long since sailed out on class restriction and they may as well.
