The scaling stops after 4 or 5 players in the group through. So dosen’t work after 4 or 5.
Well have you considered gearing? you’re in normal dungeon gear and renown levels 2. like I’m sorry but what are you expecting? do you want a big button that says WIN and you click it?
Well, you are not the only one. I do not lose my runs but I am very slow and clear everything slowly. And even run the whole floor back to break some jars… I am very careful which groups I pull even with a tank pet and I read their buffs. I played with others, they rushed forward and died…
The skills are the key. Max increase in damage and survivability is your priority, without them it is not possible. Also you should practise being surrounded by 4-5 mobs and surviving it. It just happens no matter how careful you are.
Because with no risk there is no reward.
Since mobs are harder than last boss, for class who can, just skip some mob.
I killed the boss easily with only 7 anima power. (I play druid balance )
Yeah, which in term gives you a “progression path” where the “easiests parts” give the most ash.
Missing out on 40 ash because you didnt clear a layer isnt too big of a deal.
Torghast: spend half-an-hour to an hour, depending how thorough you want to be, of rather tedious mob-grinding, with no reward at all but to get a chance at a boss that has no relation to anything you have just cleared.
Once you see it like that, you can’t unsee it.
Also, I was vaguely watching bits of YouTubes of streamers doing Torghast, and they seemed to be really enjoying it. How? Were they faking it? Did it become less fun? Did Blizzard do something to it. What happened?
I enjoy it to the point I’ve ran through it with no gear, done multiple runs, and helped random people out because I want to do it again
The problem with torghast i have every tun you start from Zero! In Hades, Deadcell you become more and more powerful until you beat the game multiple times. Then you can add some difficulty to it and earn more stuff.
But here in torghast every run you begin from new. It is not the best rogue like experience i ever had.
Yes I did have same experience those mobs was harder than the boss!
Losing a Thorghat run should reward Stygia, in my opinion. Stygia allows some minor Thorghast upgrades to be purchased.
Why Blizzard currently makes Stygia drop from the Maw but not Thorghast is strange. I guess they didn’t find a reason for motivating players to do anything in the Maw, so they ended up making Stygia drop there rather than in Thorghast.
If blizz made stygia drop from Torghast also. There would be groups that would speed run it so fast it would become Mythic+ 2.0 and over time that would make more and more people not want to do everything in a floor for the sake of being faster and get leggos faster.
This is exactly the thing that creates a Meta. So hell no to this suggestion!
Another profile hiding andy here to tell us the hardships of torgast.
Some don’t have the balls to post on their main. Courage is hard for some.
I said nothing about Torghast being hard. I haven’t found it so, at least so far. Just tedious.
Neither did I… I am however telling you why I’m disregarding your opinion because I can all but guarantee they could be boiled down to “I don’t have gear” .
#TheWorstThingEver
Suddenly getting flashbacks from when I was playing Tibia «pvp server ofc» and getting PK’d by a whol guild for so long my character de-leveld back to the starter zone .
Lost my first dragon hammer ever to random pks
Still remember it almost 20 years later. Terrible experience.
No.
I still kill a boss even with bad anima powers.
It’s harder than if I get convoke powers and bargain but it’s still doable. When I get the right powers I just press convoke and the boss dies.
Now «that» is the worst.
First dragon me and my brother was going to kill ended up with us running from 2 PK’s instead.
And we both died and had to re-level AND buy the stuff we lost back.
