Feel my character is stuck with low itemlevel reward from World Quests.
How does the item level work? Out of 6 people in our guild over the last 2 days i have had the lowest item level reward from ALL world quest they also got an item from.
Is there somthing i am missing? are u supposed to scale down on reward the higher Ilvl you have?

Thanks for some more info! This makes exactly the same point as i am making, it is supposed to scale with renown level and gear. So “somthings’s not quite right”.
Between my brother and I we have 4 lvl 60 chars.
His 164 ilvl hunter is getting 155 ilvl gear from WQ.
His 154 ilvl priest is getting 155 ilvl gear from WQ.
My 151 ilvl warlock is getting 155 ilvl gear from WQ.
My 159 ilvl hunter is getting …
148 ilvl gear from WQ.

Same here i have a gearscore of 157 and all gear from WQ is still ilvl148
I have the same issue, I am ilvl159 but all world quests are still 148.
I have tried deleting addons, and clearing cache, interface and WTF folders but it didn’t help.
I have reported it, but was just told to check the forums (standard issue response).
If it wasn’t for Shayna’s post above, I would have suggested it was a DK issue!
i have read that the itemlevel of world quest is not coressponding to your gearscore but the highest level item you found so far and i found an early 190 boe that i could not equip so did any of you got something similar ?
I have a character stuck at 148 with average item level of 156.88 and an 190 legendary equipped.
This bug extends to follower missions btw, I have yet to see any world quests or follower mission above item level 148 on my first and best geared character.
While both world quests and mission table gear rewards are scaling normally for my second and lower geared character, she is currently getting item level 158 gear.
Funnily enough, I also have a 190 BoE, but I have equipped it…
I hope they sort this bug otherwise the world quests and table missions will be pointless!

Opened a ticket two days ago but no answer so far.
A full week atm with only getting item level 148 items from world quests and follower missions, gear from rare mobs strangely scale normally, gotten 155 drops from rares in the Maw.
I assume a GM needs to take a look as it seems to be a problem with specific characters, since some(including me) of those that have this issue have characters on the same account that works normally. My warlock and death knight are on the same server but only the death knight is bugged.
Mine has changed (a bit).
I started to get 151 gear when I hit 163 and 155 gear when I got to 167.
Now at 170 and still 155, so maybe that’s the max before the renown (10 I think) upgrade.
Still stupid though,
WQ are not for gearing, it’s a catch up for alts, do some HC/m0 if u want gear
I would if people wouldn’t constantly leave after killing one boss …
there should be some punishment for early leavers like in HOTS.
That’s something I guess, but there is definitely still something wrong when lower geared characters are getting substantially higher item level rewards.
And no 155 is not the highest, my warlock is getting 158, I think max is about 171 atm.
If this problem/bug hits your alt you would be better off skipping world quest and follower missions, get the crafted gear instead before hitting dungeons.
I’ve got the same problem. The ilvl on my vengeance-dh is 158 and my lowest equipped item is lvl 148. My highest is the lvl190 legendary. Every item I can get via Worldquests or Adventures is lvl 148 and lower than my actual equipped gear.
There is no point to do WQ or Adventures for equipment.
I have the same problem.
My character Radium-Dragonblight is renown 9, ilvl 160 and before wednesdays reset she was getting ilvl 158s as reward from world quests. After reset she now gets 148’s and 151s being highest.
My just dinged alt shaman, ilvl 156 and renown 6, is getting from exactly same world quests 158 ilvl rewards.
This makes no sense.
3 Weeks in and my Hunter is at 155 ilevel.
Check all the worked Quests and all 5 that give gear are only offering 148 items.
My Renown for my covenant is at the weekly cap …
My Wife on her main is at 162 and still only getting 151/155 items from WQ’s.
I’ve the same problem.
Renown 9 and ilvl at 175 and i just get max 161 from worldquests. Other guildmember got 164 from worldquest with equipped itemlevel 161.
Update.
My main (renown 9) ilvl 160 is still stuck on ivl 148 from wq and mission table.
Now my freshly dinged shaman is renown 9 and ilvl 159 and is getting ilvl 161 rewards from wq.
Why is the character that i leveled first and has done the most getting lowers ilvl rewards than something i freshly dinged and has lower ilvl level and has done much less?
