You haven’t asked a real question to begin with. I got no problem with current m+ design. You seem to think that there is. So you need to argument what the exact problem is with the current m+ design…preferably more than “other guys said it”.

The system is not open (or at the very least it doesn’t feel like being open) simply because once the majority of the playerbase has moved to higher stones and bigger Rio scores you are essentially left behind.
After a while it becomes really hard (or sometimes even impossible) to get invited as a DPS by PUGs.
The solution to that is finding a guild which might “tolerate” your bad score and low stones while giving you the chance to prove you can do harder content. After being a PUG for like 3 expansions in a row I finally found a friendly guild that did just that. However, I know for a fact that such guilds are hard to find and that the majority of the playerbase are solo players. Therefore, many players are getting dissapointed.
You haven’t even elaborated how exactly the system is locked and whats exactly stopping people from playing m+. S1 = everyone started from zero. Blizzard did not give anyone free ranking cause they are “elitists” and a free “+15 key in the bag” the moment they logged first day of season 1.
Also, I am far from an elitist. I am got no CE, no rio 1-2 world rankings. Any person can check my publicly available logs and see that I am just your casual John who kinda has an idea how to play his class…kinda.
So I did what many people in my own guild did as well. I am currently playing in the +11, +12s range. Which is medicore at best. I started out from +2, +3s and slowly built myself up.
Not once I felt that somebody was “locking me out” of m+ or preventing me from enjoying the m+ scene
Thats the problem. Me and some other forum posters here. CANT understand whats your problem because we are not experiencing it. We want nothing. We are playing m+ each at their own level. Some at +17s, others at +11, some at +5s and progressing from there. We all started from zero, nobody gave us any boosts or free gifts and we reached where we are with our own effort and not cause “elitists allowed us in”.
So whats your problem in following our footsteps? If I can do it, why can’t you? I am no streamer, Method player or any other kind of “VIP”. I get no special treatment and I pay the sub like anyone else.

Because there is no global problem. Its a player driven problem which only some people experience and many have already given solutions of guilds, communities, friends, just using your own key and moving up from there.
If I go to work every day and get my salary and my neighbor does not and just drinks beer every day…all wekk. One day the boss got fed up completely and fired him and he is now crying that the big evil boss fired him. Its not a global problem with employment. Its a self caused issue and nothing more. Meanwhile your suggestion is to give him “state benefits” but when I argue that maybe the said person should at least start actually going to work, you scream against me that “I dont understand his problem”.
Because the system is already OPEN. No elitist is standing next to your house and pointing a gun at your window “You shall NOT play m+!”. You are not asking to open the system, you are asking for the system to “serve you so you don’t have to get out of your comfy couch and you know…do something?”
Your complaint that the “door is closed” is wrong. Because the door is OPEN. But you have to walk through the door not make the door “fly through you”.
If you are against any form of effort. Then why bother with this “door” charade anyway? Just ask Blizz to send you the loot in the mailbox and be done with it?

A watered down LFR difficulty dungeon which happens to award heroic level gear? So whats the difference between that and getting “free epics”…Oh. I see the difference, you actually have to go and get those epics from the target dummies in the dungeon. Make your own key. Its the start of the season, people are flocking to any key they can find.
+2 whatever.
No elitist can “block you” because you are calling the shots on whom to invite.
2 runs later and the key will be at level 7,9 already.
Give a “REAL” reason why this is not viable then we can talk about the “toxic m+ filled with elitists”.

Pretty much removed any challenge from m+. I am surprised he didnt ask to also limit on how much % can the bosses do you so no more than 1% hp loss per hit and you can’t die.
And its NOT even that. Make anything queueable with randoms and Blizzard will be forced to nerf it to the ground. Remember cata dungeons? They werent even timed. Only “real difficulty” was that you coulnt just roflstomp through and you had to use brain.exe in pulls, crowd control, traps. But since it was quable…what happened?
You guessed it. People almost DDoS the forums with bleating on how “hard” and difficult it was so they nerfed that you could roflstomp with your feet while watching TV.
