M+ as "race against time" is bad concept - Ideas of Non-Timed M+ mode

Citation needed if I’m honest.

Kara / Mechagon and Soleah’s were all put in as big epic dungeons and peoples attitude was “I want to do hard mode for the mount” or “no loot, screw that”.

Like I said.
Personally, I don’t care.
I don’t have a problem with progress myself, it’s just that **** like you annoy me. Who can’t see it from the perspective of improvement.

There was really no one who wanted to do it for fun? I find that hard to believe. I was still raiding ulduar with my guild for fun when ICC just came out because the fights were fun no one only cared about the loot.

So instead of not having to help those people and having Blizzard help them, you’re going to be on the side of those who send those people to play other games.

23 posts in a thread sure screams “I don’t care”.

And trying to change something into something it was never intended to be isn’t an “improvement” - if that makes me annoy you, well, you can imagine how much I care.

I don’t care was meant to be about you ;*. Not about topic. And ye it can be improvement. But you have your head to much deep inside your a** you cannot even see it.

Again, you are speaking of a guy one in a billion. There are no people who are “frustrated” because they can’t time a +2 mythic… Those people can help themselves by playing with players on their lvl and learning together. If they refuse to do so, it’s on them. Stop asking Blizzard to babysit you every step. That’s just insane and beyond stupid.

Nop. We can’t. It’s locked behind a toxic system that exclude a vast playerbase.

To afraid of a ladder system is what you are.

M+ could work like it do now, but without a timer. Could just set a number of allowed deaths before the key gets depleted, and lower that number the higher the key goes. Should add some more oneshot-mechanics too, and maybe also scale the mechanics to make them faster on higher keys, so that everyone need to interrupt or dodge those oneshot-mechanics faster.

I’ve played another MMO where pretty much every mechanic could oneshot people if they got hit, so everyone had to move and dodge stuff all the time, and those mechanics were also faster and more frequent than in WoW, and the game didn’t have any combatresses either. I loved that. I wish higher keys were like that, but without a timer.

How? How exactly does the timer exclude a “vast” player base?

Not the timer, that’s just a ridiculous part of it, that sure for all I care can stay, but should go. Speedrunning is a niche playstyle.

So what exactly excludes the “vast” player base if it’s not (just) the timer?

Language, for one.

Reading the topic you replying to another.

Language? Really?

Yeah. Like the elitist language where some silly score and crap decide wether you get to play the content or not.

People asked for years to get the score implemented and now you want to blame Blizzard for listening to the majority of the player base?
Also, how is the score excluding the “vast” player base? If this “vast” player base doesn’t like it, they can ignore the score and invite each other, no?

None asked for this crap. Everyone hated gearscore.

Not really, no. (means, yes, they did)
You still didn’t answer my question why this “vast” player base doesn’t want to play with each other if they are so equal minded?

Because adhering to social standards is not what someone logging onto a game come for.

If you don’t understand that, to bad.

It’s been repeated over and over again. And you have absolutely no argument to keep it locked.

And it’s a mixture of many things, that make it thoroughly toxic. I’m not keeping lists of everything that’s wrong with this game for ignorants to continue to ignore.

Adhering to standards is part of any social interaction.

Do you try to join a really good football club if you’re terrible, unfit and overweight?
If you’re terrible unfit and overweight and have amazing fun in a social club would you accept a really good player coming in and berating you for your shortcomings?

Bottom line, irl and ingame there are standards, it comes from interacting with others.

Repeating something doesn’t make it true.
