no because the timer is the challenge, the subtlety in mm + are not the mechanics, but doing dps, and many people do not know how to do that
Your pvp ilvl rises over time as well due to rating.
But is it? The difference between LFR and Mythic is 39 ilvl. So 20 seems a nice number for LFR m+ vs regular m+.
That was my exact reason for quitting raiding. Well that and the diabolical drop rate, which left it all feeling like a waste of time as I only raid for gear.
Why are people afraid of timer??..
its meant to be abit preasure, i like preasure, instead of QQ about timer, try do do better within the time u got!..
And if ppl simpley cant cope with timers, find ppl to deplete keys with!, you are not forced to time your keys, just take your time guys ><
No? The entire point of the game mode of M+ is to optimize resource use and keep on inventing ways to make the clears more efficient, the timer is the only thing forcing players not to take 5 minute breaks between every pack to wait for all CDs to reset which would be the optimal way to play given you had infinite time, thus infinite resources.
Removing the timer from M+ would be like removing pillars from arena, youâre just making an entirely different game mode and gameplay loop.
Cannot emphasise how important the box is to nerf it. I laid off adamant vaults until this week to ensure I had good research to help me get the runs and itâs worked. As a rogue (firstly sub and assy as of last week) Iâve managed to get the 4 gems or higher each run every week up until layer 12, I havenât 4 gemmed a layer 12 yet (beyond AV itâs pointless) but Iâve got close and only been 3 or so points off a 4 gem at my ilevel of (then) 226 (252 is recommended for layer 12).
The box is soooo important especially reduction of torments and blessings.
Funny thing is Iâve seen the complaints about AV being unrewarding and I only just unlocked it this week and did a 9 to sample and got the 252 conduit item first clear, haha.

time constraints is why most people dont raid⊠if there was no time constraints youâd see that number change. even if bosses were harderâŠ
If bosses were harder itâd take longer to kill themâŠ? And raiding takes commitment because youâre with a large number of people that, at times, handle mechanics as a collective. You canât get that sort of play by playing on and off.

sure elitsm loves timer but most people donât.
Timers have nothing to do with elitism. Anyone that is âeliteâ at the game will know what burn out means and how exhausting it is.
There will be bad people everywhere so Iâd say donât label wrong things together.

So picture this scenario and really think about it. Would you enjoy M+ more if: The dungeons were much harder per level key, but there was no longer a timer attached to it. Item reward would be about the same.
Would you enjoy it?
Not many people enjoy dungeons where you wipe for 90mins with lots of trial and error. Once in a blue-moon? Maybe, but by and large dungeons should be brief and well executed. You remove the timer and you end up with a slow grind corpse run dungeon where youâre hoping for the stars to align, which is already what happens in end of week vault non timed runs with less geared/experienced/skilled players.
In those runs people already donât care about the timer, and nobody is having a good time they are just relieved to get it over with.

Nope, if i wanted to spend whole night in one place ill just raid.
Imagine there is no timer and each dung takes 13 years because u wait for cds for every single pack and boss. U could also go out of dungeon between each boss to swap gear and talents from ST to AoE and vice versa.
Whatever reason people have to âhateâ timer, solution is already in game for that.
no make it alot easyer all levels of keys sylvanas world first M+ kill was way to hard

Would you enjoy it?
no I wouldnt. Timer is what makes it M+ and what makes it enjoyable and challanging. remove than and you get mini raids that scale in difficulty which sounds extremly boring.

Would you enjoy M+ more if: The dungeons were much harder per level key, but there was no longer a timer attached to it.
no, absolutely not. i think the reward is apropriate to the difficulty right now with a timer attached to it. if you dont like the idea of a timer then seek like minded people and ignore the timer. you ll still get two items at the end and can take as much time as you want.
furthermore, blizzards idea of making content âchallenging or hardâ is just to increase the mobs hp and damage. they ll just make everything take ages to kill and not hard to kill, which i am not a fan of.
this would be a truly waste of time, if a dungeon takes instead of 20-30min now an hour or more for the same amount of loot. basically more effort for the same reward.
now that i think about it, i love the idea of the timer. this way people are encouraged to not spend ages in a dungeon.
ppl who are not able to do m+ in time are complaining
I would like it more yeah.

As long as they are made 10 Man ? Sound amazing fun . Since its fun IT will never happen since fun is not allowed in wow only in FF14 . What a coincidence that players leave wow for ff14 eh ion ?
if you delete m+ timer you kill m+
Personally the timer is what made M+ less appealing to me.
I wanted M+ to be more of a 5 man âraidâ than another freaking attempt at creating another esport.
As if that was not enough they have thrown in seasonal bribes to either do it properly at high end or to get boosted at.
Or people that loved this game before blizz added mythic+ and made this game an esport game.
