You need to relog for vault progress to be visible in game.
For Rio, either you or someone else from the party needs to queue a character update on the website.

Your gear seems just fine for a +6. I’d bring you as far as +10 so long as you can hold your own.

You have 16.88% Versatility which is epic low and was low even for the first week of the Season. Currently the well geared players (the same that are telling me that I’m not well geared) have 29++ percent of Versatility. That’s exactly +75% on top of what you got and that’s not even taking into consideration the +40% benefit from Versatility coming from both PvP trinkets.
So… iLvl 215 or not, even I have +35% more Versatility with my puny iLvl 199. But hey, people see 215 they say GOOD! They see 199 and they say BAD! And then they open Rio to draw more conclusions.

I was Outlaw 204ilvl 675 raiderIO today i try to do a +10 got over 60 declines. Then try to do 9-8 got over 80 declines. In the end i got declines in some +7 even on the same instance i got a 9++ kill. Same thing from the morning, noon, night. After some thought i go back to assa trying to get some honor to hit 400 honor lvl from random bgs (or waiting my 4 months subs to expire).
Even more funny thing is to get declined by ppl with lower kills and rio from you. lel.

But if you had a 205 MM hunter, a 208 Balance druid and a 206 Shadow Priest sign up at the same time, would you really take the chance with the 199 retadin? That’s the bottom line, at any hour of the day there’s at least four dps players for every dps spot in LFG and the chances of each of them being able to hold their own (a very courteous euphemism for ‘not be an idiot’ indeed) is equal, so why take the chance on the lower geared character with an unpopular spec?
And this is exactly why so many players dislike PvE 
Skills don’t matter one bit, you have between 12 and 15 less buttons to press and at the end of the day, a meta keyboard turner will always be the better pick, no matter what 
And attitudes like what you have right there is why people dislike pvpers.
Skills does not matter one bit in pvp. (not really true but neither is it true in pve)
A meta player will not always be better then you but people are meta slaves and will choose the meta class even When he is bad because of the class/spec.
There exist so many boosted people just because of the spec or class they play it is honestly sad.

It’s a bit ironical that Rio “is showing you how skilled a player is” and at the same time he “can’t be really skilled unless he’s meta” 
And you would absolutely always get the meta, because he’s skilled and never take anyone else, because they are surely unskilled
Pugging is a miserable experience. There’s 2 work arounds - run your own key and try not to be a toxic player like the ones denying you constantly. Pick warriors, and frost mages and all of those - they’re FINE.
The other option is to get a guild that does M+ and run with your mates.

I wouldn’t put on 30% vers gear to tank, and net my haste to <15% lmao.
And you’re 22% vers, barely.
That’s same I had as hpala when I got one shot by that ret.

You’re playing one of most op specs rn in pvp, and complaining that it’s weak, idk what to tell you.
How OP could be a spec that’s not even worth considering for M+6 exactly?
OP enough to be played in many teams in pro tournaments apparently, despite these players knowing how to react to every burst window and play around their heals
I mean, you’re applying to keys with 4 finished m+ dungs that aren’t even 6, as class that brings survival utility and dps (no hero, no treants, no aoe stuns…). While being among 30 other dps that apply, who probably outgear and outexperience you in m+.
Play more lower keys, gain more rio and ilvl. Unless you just came here to complain and don’t need advice, but someone to agree with you, that’s something we can’t help you with.

Only seen 1 ret today. there is a ton of shadow priests though.
And there are more disc priests then ret paladins.
However the most popular healer is holy paladin it seems like.
