Mac issues - CRASHING, LAGGING AND STUTTERING AFTER 8.3

I can’t believe this issue is still not fixed. Shameful.

THIS is so annoying Blizzard! I’m seriously thinking of not renewing my sub which I have been doing since fall of 2008!!

I log in, do some daily quests and then log out because there‘s nothing else i can do. It literally is the most boring game on this planet like this. It‘s a joke really

I’m so heated and frustrated right now!! the game keeps on freezing/crashing, which ultimately reboots my MacBook, how long till we have to suffer like this?!

annnnnnnd still no update from Blizzard! 487 comments and no solving to this issue. I think that’s it fellas… don’t renew your subs. its going to waste anyway.

Well, over 2000 comments combined over the EU and NA thread without a serious answer by Blizzard. Sad to say this but bye! I’m off cancelling my sub, refunding Shadowlands and going back to ESO. I surely hope you all also go and quit. Blizzard seriously doesn’t seem to care. 5 tickets haven’t brought me a single serious answer.

All the best and take care guys! Sad that WoW ends like this.

At least you can do dailies. My game freezes no matter what I do so I gave up on even doing dailies.

Caster guide to farming Ishak: Hide behind a pillar to block the wonderful colors, while maintaining spell los. Mount dropped last night xD. ( got it in the mail because the tank decided to bring the fight next to pillar where I was standing. Freeze, restart, check mail…) I think I will try m+…1.

So another rainbow beachball of crash happened when I tried a random HC. Tried different alternatives in the advanced graphic menu, but yea we know how that turned out.

Linking the crash report in case there is another "hint / note " in the report after the latest update that Blizz could use in their adventure to find the real issue.

My sub runs for 7 more days and won‘t be renewed if it‘s not gonna be fixed until then.

I just read on the us thread that these issues may damage your macbook pro, macbook air or imac. Stop playing if you do, it‘s not worth it!

Oh man when you thought it could not get any worse. Ok then we have to stay away from even logging in by this point. We have to get a REAL FIX.

I mean hell, at this point Blizzard need to TRY THE UPDATES THEMSELF AT THE HQ BEFORE SHIPPING IT OUT. When we have reach the point that, not only can you not play the game, but DESTROYING your hardware / iMac / MacBook takes the cake.

Damn it Blizzard! Get your ( you know what ) TOGETHER.

Just wanted to share this answer from our beloved CS:

Our Quality Assurance and Development team are indeed investigating this issue, unfortunately matters are not always easy and quick to fix.

Unfortunately we simply cannot offer any compensation in this case, with the complexity of online games it’s simply not possible for us to guarantee a problem free experience for 100% of players and this is very clearly covered in our End User Licence Agreement.

So it is OK to have bugs, sure, they will exist as long as software is around. But I do have a question Blizzard, if you buy a car, and the software is preventing it from driving, but you can still sit in it, look at it, wash it, polish it cherish it or whatever the heII you do with it EXCEPT actually DRIVE it, you would be ok with that? SERIOUSLY, this is what you state with the above. FFS are you for real covering your sh*tstorm behind the EULA?

I have asked for a refund of my remaining pre-purchased game time, and it will not be honored. I asked for the promise of some sort of compensation, wich is denied as well.

You don’t care, at least have the decency to just admit it instead of empty (very rare) blue posts that do not say anything but patience. Do not offer the game support on Mac or even SELL the game that isn’t playable on the Mac (but also a lot of Windows players have issues)

Forgive my ranting here my friends, as its the only way I can utter my frustration as our Tickets are simply ignored for 4 days, closed as resolved or answered with the same BS answers before getting closed and impossible to re-open again.

Hurray Blizzard
/puke

We need to get this out to the youtubers/streamers get someone to cover it properly. I’m sorry but this is ridiculous, we are paying for something we cannot use and then being told quite simply to suck it up and deal with it is incredible.

Did anyone had the chance to try after this mornings update?

Yes, same - no improvements on my end.

No changes at my end. Still freezing and crashing.

I dont think it would be a bad idea for everyone to start sending emails and fb messages to any sites we know that report on gaming news. Send then links to this thread and us thread and explain how blizzard are refusing requests for compensation for a bug that has made the game unplayable for nearly a month now as well as that it was known about in ptr and still pushed out. To make matters worse, theres now reports the crashes are causing permanent damage to the macs. I
