Mac issues - CRASHING, LAGGING AND STUTTERING AFTER 8.3

Ever since the patch I cannot play on my Mac. It has been a long while please find some solution.

Giving my last words here now, I have lost faith. Some rant included.

Our patience are tested here. Many already cancel their subs and Im about to join them. Im giving this sh.it, (sorry but I’m really frustrated that this haven’t been fixed yet despite it was reported numerous times on the PTR) till reset before I’m out. How can an issue this big EVEN SLIP THROUGH??? Damn it Blizz, okay you bad expansions releases like WoD that was sorta fixed within 3-4 days. But this? Its been a disastrous start of a patch with soon TWO ENTIRE weeks being unplayable. When you have a client working for Mac WoW, MAYBE someone should yea…test it? Look at it? Report it? ANYTHING?

Isnt that logic? Or I’m out in outer space on this part? If any company creates a game and you say the game can be played on X Y Z systems, shouldn’t all those 3, X Y and Z be tested before shipping it out live to your customers?

And no, it doesn’t matter how many work arounds there are, Im not doing them because of a huge issue ON BLIZZARDS PART slip through the PTR testing. Went from perfect play of 8.2 into 100% UNPLAYABLE 8.3, YES that is on BLIZZARDS part. We have been posting here our experiences, linking our crash reports, updated regularly whenever Blizz released a mini update, YET no fix to be seen? After soon to be 2 weeks?

Quoting Mawes, a forum poster: “Imagine getting bootcamp and downloading Windows 10 to be able to play a fifteen year old game - utter nonsense.” When on that subject, not everyone have a 100gb of free space.

As much as I love WoW, Im hitting the unsub this coming reset. Paying for this gaming experience is just absurd. I will say tho, whenever you Blizzard, officially state that the game is again playable on Mac, I will be back.

Starting to become very annoying. Can’t even run through a level 15 dungeon without my iMac completely shutting down on me. Seems to be even worse than normal today as well.

12 days in still crashing, still entire system crashing… so frustrating - just cancelled my subscription and will just keep following this thread. Blizzard will you refund gameplay for this? This sucks. :((

I am having the same problems. Crashing, blocking, the game just stops for like 30 seconds then when it returns (all laggy) I am dead… I have tried to queue for a vision and couldn’t as the game just blocked (at least my 10k coalescing did not get wasted). I think it is quite ludicrous that this has not been solved yet.

I installed windows 10 on my mac and the game has no issues. If I swop back over to MAC IOS the game freezes until I turn it off!

When using Win10 are you playing using integrated Intel GPU or discrete GPU? Asking because it seems most issues are related to Intel only based Macs (at least one). Thanks.

Any news when there will be a fix to counter the horrible client freezes?? Sometimes mid raid it freezes and I die. Or even worse, when the pull timer is set and people start using their CD’s and prepots and then I freeze up!
