Those whom I know and who use a different graphic card on a MacBook (for example Nvidia) did not encounter our problem. Probably, at a high speed of processing the operation, the video cache of the Intel graphic card is clogged, and the freezing is probably due to the fact that the graphic card doesn’t have time to process the video stream … I’m not sure, guys, but the problem is serious. In theory, there are many of us have this issue…and Blizzard simply must help …
This is not True, I can switch between the Intel Iris card or the AMD Radeon R9 M370X and still have the same issues.

Unfortunately this is a matter outside of Customer Supports control. The World of Warcraft Development team are aware of an issue impacting an extremely small number of MAC users and currently working to resolve this matter as soon as possible.
At this time, Customer Support can only recommend you reduce your clients resolution and reduce the graphics settings which we have seen can reduce the frequency of issue for the impacted players.

Same issue for me too. Can play any old content but the moment I try any Visions, or current dungeons I’m getting the pinwheel of death and 10-15 sec freezes, then my MacBook either switches off altogether or I go back to normal for a few secs, only for it to happen again. Its so frustrating!

I have been having this problem after the newest content patch.
My bfs computer totally freezes after gaming for a short while. (I would say 5 to 30min max).
My game and chat window freezes, but I can hear the voices that come from other group members being in combat or mobs that are nearby, hitting me or other players.
I get this “beach ball” rolling and then it freezes.
Only thing that helps for it is force closing game and restarting it.
But then again, minute or 5 the same thing appears.
It REALLY does bother and I really can’t play the game

There’s little you can do other than wait for a patch from Blizzard.
If you’ve got the space, you can run WoW from a bootcamp Windows partition your MacBook, but that’s a sucky solution.
And Blizz, if you’re reading this, please hire more macOS developers. Or perhaps, better macOS developers. And thoroughly test your stuff before releasing it into the wild?
