Stomping in Arenas is the same of stomping in BGs, just done with less ppl and less classes (resto+warr, RMP).
In a balanced environment (pug vs pug or premade vs premade), BGs are superior in terms of skill because you don’t need just to kill some1 but also care about objectives. And no sophistry will change that.
I think it’s just a different set of skill. Team 1 may have more positional coordination than Team 2 and may be able to cover objectives more effectively, but Team 2 may be better at winning 1 on 1 battles against Team 1.
