Maintenance for retail, 20 minutes.
Maintenance for classic, 4 hours.
Yes Blizzard, good job trying to get me play retail. Did the share holders require you too do that at Activision? Stand up for yourself Blizzard, do like Bungie and use your trinket to break out of Activisions shackle.
They fire your collegues that love the game and have a passion, then hire a CEO that tried to compete against your masterpiece with SW Galaxy.

Blah blah retail is crap. While on the retail forums some idiot is saying blah blah blah classic is crap.
It’s obviously not some conspiracy to make people play retail but I specifically remember Blizz saying there wouldn’t need to be a weekly maintenance for even things like honor updates

How is ,Classic having longer maintenance than Retail, Blizzard trying to get you to play retail? I presume that you’re not aware that you can play other games or do something else productive during downtime?
Im paying 12 dollars a month and obviously more resources are going into retail, when its obvious their main income is classic now of sub fee’s. But yea, just accept the fact that you are supporting Activision with a monthly fee so the artists can draw new companion pets.
They even said that they are not using the same client servers we used too have, for the reason we are getting pre tbc av etc.
Classic is basically running on same server engines as retail. October to december was a hell, we had like maintenance 3-4 nights every week.
If Im a tin foil, how come Blizzard close this post within 24 hours?
I don’t disagree that Classic is a side-project of Blizz-vision, and it does require more attention, but saying that Blizzard is trying to sway Classic players to Retail based purely on the maintenance times is a little far fetched.

OOO I cant play game for whole 4 hours QQ not likt there been Major problems with Classic last night and 3 of us could not even log in after DC fro 2 hours so we packed up playing.
Let me enlighten YOU… THERE IS NO BLIZZARD ANYMORE everyone that cared about Blizz games left the ship months years ago… Maybe your’s brain is messed up and You dont remember they sacked around 800 people last year Fabuary. Then more left after Free Hong Kong.
You are not paying 12 dollars a month as in the US it’s 14.99 dollars a month and it’s 12.99 Euros a month in the EU. If you pay in Dollars go post on the US forums.
I’ve told people a million times not to exaggerate. Classic runs on 7.5 from my what I understand.
