No, you don’t deserve an invite, you deserve to play a balanced game.
Don’t give the devs an easy way out. Make them balance the game. Some specs will always be slightly ahead, but no more hard season metas.
One of the worst suggestions ive recently read on forums.
Its pretty clear that you dont run your own keys while simultaneously feel entitled to brick keys for others. And now you suggesting that blizz should implement system that would help you with that.
Apply your suggestion and make couple groups using your logic. Set the filter, post your key and inv first ppl that sign up. That should be enough for a bright mind to then understand how bad is this suggestion.
The problem is, the queue will be 5 hours long. The key will then fail.
You and others attempting to use the broken system will come back here to complain yet again and now Blizzard has to try and come up with a solution. Which there isn’t.
I think (alteast from experience), the random lfd has a filter that the group must have bl. All my groups had atleast 1 player who could use bl (when i had alt tank in df for rune farm, i never had a party without bl).
Also that, most people dont even use these utility skills. My last run yesterday in boralus, a warrior didnt have bitter immunity talent to dispell this week affix. Paladin didnt use cr.
Agree, it would be similar to solo que, if not worse, cos healer and /or tank shortage.
Keys can also fail without que system so not much change here.
Overall i think it would be nice to “try” out atleast and see how it goes at the end of xpac. Like they did with solo que and bg blitz.
I suspect this would never happen because the incentive Blizzard would need to give to get tanks and healers to sign up would earn them less money than boosting does.
I would sign up as tank if the pay was good but Blizzard aren’t going to send me IRL money for tanking keys. They just allow RMT to happen so they aren’t the ones paying and they also get a piece.
We get about 5000 gold via satchel (with good rng) for a HC that can’t fail and takes 5 minutes. How much would they have to pay us for content that may not even be doable? If they can’t complete it after an hour we get no reward after a disband?
Even though I would use it to get paid, I don’t think there is anything they can come up with won’t have massive holes in it people can easily exploit.
your match making idea isnt going to work to fix any tank/healer shortage as m+ groups will just find an alternative way to form groups (like custom groups on premade). players who are picky now will find a way to continue to be picky.
Those things lower the risks. You have your own key do whatever you want with it.
I am playing off meta character , 90% of my keys are pugged. Yes i’m not getting invited but i have my own key and pushing it and i’m almost 3k. Solution is there from the start , you have your own key.
A problem thats been created by the company shouldn’t be fixed by a horrible que system. Only thing they can do is fix the balancing on both classes and dungeons. Fix will happen naturally. They can start by stop giving a class all the utility in the game and 40% more damage then non meta specs. Specs are meta for a reason.
Also what you saying doesn’t really apply on low keys , i have 2x undergeared non meta alts who is doing 8s just fine with my OWN KEY. On the other hand when i create my 13 on main people don’t even want to join cuz of my mains spec.
Nope. Nuh-uh. No thanks. I prefer to have control over who gets into my group. But hey, you’re welcome to invite the first four people that pop up into your group finder if that’s what rocks your boat!
Think about what you are saying. Just for half a second should be enough.
If M+ had a solo queue and it got nerfed, you would then get stuck at the next blockage and ask for nerfs again. You can’t nerf infinite scaling to be doable by everyone.
You people will never be happy until the top key that exists is a +2, it gives myth track gear, 1 million gold and 1000 gilded crests. Not everyone is entitled to all content. Maybe put this effort in to either networking or learning to tank or heal.
