Free to play will KILL the game so no - this topic is ended there. I like WoW. I don’t like some communites in the game at the moment or their agendas but I do not wish the game to go F2P.

That is also reasonably good solution IMO.
The current state of game; F2P quality with paid subscription. This is not good.

What you just said, is the very definition of immature.
I was conflicted as to whether or not I should even respond to this, as people who interpret a different perspective as stalking and harassment are typically doing it intentionally to avoid the arguments of the other party.
I’m not stalking him (or her), if you read my post history then you really ought to know.
I’ve called Punyelf a fanboy, because quite frankly, given the discussions we’ve had and reading his post, I would categorize him as such.
Either way, those were discussions between me and him. Some were heated, most were not. None were harassment. I’m starting to sense a voice call clique here, a group endorsing each other campaigning the forums together. Yikes. I might be wrong, apologies if so, but coming from a RP server this appears very similar.
If I have made Punyelf upset over forum replies, then neither of us need you as a intermediate between us. A lot may have been misinterpreted as 70% of communication is body language, which we can’t do here. Either way, if there is a need for such, we can and will work it out ourselves without your help.

Wow has been f2p for few month now. I just put my gold to tokens. I don’t need gold for anything else than repairs on my characters.
Hate to break it to you but thats not f2p. Someone is paying RL cash for your sub.

“I quit when WoW becomes f2p” - Then you should have stopped playing many years ago because it already is f2p. Blizzard is just charging you $12 a month for f2p game.

It’s very different. You’ve clearly never played a f2p game. Wow servers would shut down in less then a year if went onto a f2p system
That model doesn’t work on a mmorpg, it’s litterally never done.
FORCED TO PAY model is far more expensive then a subscription. We all know f2p doesn’t actually mean free to play.
I think people may wanna look into what actual f2p mmorpgs are before they bring such “optimistic ideas”

Whats infront of my nose is clear. Maby you should open your blinkers and think why this game costs. If this game was f2p, i think we would not get new expansions. As long as they get money from customers, they keep developing this game. There is a reason why wow has lasted so many years and keeps on rolling.

I think when someone hates the actual release of a game he loved so much in the past, just one action is in order: unsub and go to find somethin else.
And i say /write) that with genuinely (i hate this word but thats it) spirit. Wow in the past wasnt better, it was NEW, there was Arthas and Kael Thas. Ppl screaming against the game existed from day 1.
Now is a 12 years old game that with f2p would be doomed to death in brief time.
My 2 cents.
