I was just wondering cause it seems to me that you deem 1-10 to be «walk in the park» content that everyone that knows how to log in to wow also will be able to complete. I see so many people on these forums severely overestimate the skill levels of the average player. Like it got stated earlier here, someone said +12 are noob keys. Its not. I dont know those other games u compare with, but if Uda can solo them then i dont think it can be compared with m1-10. more like heroic dungeons maybe.
Just write it yourself. Copy paste what I wrote. Cause people asking for a 2nd key-level squish is something I am really against. And I want that message to come across to everyone.
It was a huge mistake.
Mistjo was right in DF that it was a bad idea, inspite people arguing with him and even insulting him. And he was proven right in S4 of DF. But people ignored it because it was an “OP season with OP gear” and did not really notice.
And S1 was such a disaster even I stopped playing. I did not stop even in SL for crying out loud!
So. Anyone that wants matchmaking can propose any arguments they want. EXCEPT that one. I dont want another S1 TWW. It was horrible. And I cannot express how horrible it was with out getting banned from the forums.
Hmmm 33% of how many people?
And that is 33% of the players that actually do keys, isnt it? Not counting all those that dont touch keys normally but would flood to the system if it got a queue. Anyways, think i’ve said all i have to say in this topic. Let them have their queue, just dont come whining when most groups cant get past a +4.
I didn’t even get 2k in S1, it was so bad. Felt like 1/5 groups were a success.
It didn’t help that COT was horrible and had unfair bosses, and Ara Kara was easy until the last boss.
Plus a pretty horrible dungeon pool.
Ah yes. City of Threads… just no.
Dont even mind the kara last boss - Ive grown to like these “judge the barrels while you are running on hot coals” mechanics.
…
Yes. I am weird, deal with it.
This season is a massive improvement, so I guess they listened to feedback.
and yet ppl wanted ara kara back, they wanted to sufffer just for the sakes of a good trinket
this season would have been fairly balanced loot wise if all the good/great dungeon loot wasn’t put into the S1 pool
33% of people doing keys. And Sinaaki rightfully pointed out.
I don’t like Blizzard’s ignore feature, because it’s not very practical to a running discussion. It’s like trying to avoid your ex-girlfriend who lives next door. It’s…difficult.
So whatever. Sure.
I don’t read your posts because we’ve had conversations in the past and just about every time you eventually popped and lost your cool. And I’m not really in the business of being on the receiving end of that again and again.
But whatever. Try to keep it in mind though, for the future.
The reason why 0-10 should be queueable, is because that difficulty progression represents the weekly and seasonal goal of most players.
Most players have a weekly goal of doing at least one +10 Mythic Dungeon, so that they can get a Mythic item in their weekly Vault.
Most players have a seasonal goal of getting a score of 2000 in Mythic+, so that they can get their exclusive seasonal mount reward.
That is the the weekly and seasonal motivation for a lot of people to play this game.
That is why Mythic+ is so popular. It attracts a lot of players for the above reasons (among other).
The problem is that getting all these players into all these +2 and +5 and +7 and +10’s that they’re doing each and every week, is like getting a camel through the eye of a needle.
And that’s because the LFG system sucks balls.
It’s just not a very efficient system for funneling a lot of players into groups and getting them into dungeons.
It’s actually an incredibly crude system. Players have little way of knowing how long it will take to get a group, or if they’re going to get any at all. There’s no real guidance given to newcomers for how they should seek a group and where they should start. There’s a lot of opportunities for players to get bad experiences with trying to get a group as they get declined repeatedly or told off by other players.
There are a lot of reasons why LFG is not a good systems design for handling a huge volume of players.
Therefore – like in real life – when manual work becomes insufficient, you bring in automation!
Because if you look at what the LFG system really is, then it’s a bunch of players who act as small queue systems of their own – gatekeepers for others to get into Mythic+ Dungeons. And they’re just not very efficient at getting all the many players who want to get into Mythic+ Dungeons into those Mythic+ Dungeons.
And volume is really the issue here. WoW players run ~1.5 million Mythic+ Dungeons per week. And those runs are largely funneled through the LFG system – a very inefficient system.
If you had an efficient system, like a queue system would be, then you could get players into Mythic+ Dungeons a lot quicker. And if players can do Mythic+ Dungeons quicker, then they also have time to do more.
And that’s what we’ve always seen with queue systems being introduced. The popularity of the given game activity explodes, because the player efficiency of running the content goes through the roof.
And surely the end goal, the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, is to maximize the amount of time players spend in the game doing the gameplay they want to be doing.
That’s the core of Blizzard’s metrics. Get people to play the content they enjoy, and maximize that time playing as much as possible.
And if a player is sitting in LFG for 10 minutes, then that’s 10 minutes the player is not playing the Mythic+ Dungeon they want to be playing.
And if an automated queue system can speed that process up, then it is a superior choice.
That is why automated queue systems find their way into all aspects of all games. Because they are efficient at getting people into the gameplay that they want to be playing.
I have my onw reasons for having nightmares from there. A significant difference of nighmares one might say.
I have i think 3 alts which i play for quite a while and i am not there yet.
So i have to ask, BoW gear? Coin gear?
Warbound gear and undercoin from delves maybe?
What ilvl do you consider appropriate for +6?
this late in the season ? like 650 + considerng how you can get to 640 in literaly 1-2 evenings now

What ilvl do you consider appropriate for +6?
I suppose that depend on the player. But i am not at +6 skill yet on my paladin and evoker (well the paladin is not aiming for it anymore since tanking is atrocious this season).
paladin is 649, evoker 644. Basically only done +2’s

I didn’t even get 2k in S1, it was so bad. Felt like 1/5 groups were a success.
It didn’t help that COT was horrible and had unfair bosses, and Ara Kara was easy until the last boss.
Plus a pretty horrible dungeon pool.
heh had very similiar experience before i given up on it
came very very late in season and got 2k on aug evoker when people were extremly overgeared for that difficulty levels
first 3 weeks of s1 were literal nightmare when i tried to push keys like +5 - liek you say - 20 % is veyr generous estimate towards what success of those keys was

Most players have a weekly goal of doing at least one +10 Mythic Dungeon, so that they can get a Mythic item in their weekly Vault.
Most players have a seasonal goal of getting a score of 2000 in Mythic+, so that they can get their exclusive seasonal mount reward.
These 2 contradict each other. Doing your weekly +10 each week (assuming you only do 1) will eventually get you 2600 score, getting 2000 for KSM is doing +6s. So which one is it? Again the stats I linked say that only 33% have timed all 8 10s.
Also there is another seasonal mount at 3k. Should that be included in the “quable key level”, because the stats for that are 10% (3009 score being the cutoff to be exact so less than 10%).
Why arent people screaming for queues for hc raids and mythic raids though? Those also have vault loot and seasonal rewards.
Okay so you meant you want/need to overgear +6 before you start those. Nothing wrong with that, but if you purely look at what +6 drops, 645 ish is perfect for it.
